Does anyone else find a resistance in their family to getting rid of possessions? My family are hoarders and social media addicts. They hate to get rid of stuff. They dislike the feeling of "losing" something. I want to burn everything I own and give it all away and they try to stop me from getting rid of things.
Sounds like my family. Greedy as fuck, waste time and money shipping crap in circles and refusing to allow me to just get rid of it. Materialistic. They all wanted to put their greedy hands into it. Here I got STUFF! Congrats, umm, it was supposed to be given away, it's not going to "make" me like you, or "make" me want to "live" with you. What's the point if you never go anywhere or do anything and you face these fuckin losers everyday and they just buy buy buy ignore ignore ignore bribe bribe bribe intervene intervene intervene and refuse to allow you to have a life?
I hate relatives.
Oh look someone nag nag nags to "go fishing" they show up for 5min and there's no cell service so they snap a few photos and pretend like they had the greatest day ever! Have to keep pretending on the internet right?
Stupidity.
Omg my brother died!1111!!! - the one that didn't like you or talk to you and you stick your nose in the estate and it wasn't yours to be sticking your nose into, while playing pitiful "games" on social media and scrolling through social media in the front row of a funeral…. How stupid.
People who "live" through cellphones but aren't displaying the reality of things and how bad they are. Everyone glamorizes life online but they don't realize it isn't an accurate depiction of what is actually occurring.
People don't take people seriously, be it verbal, written, even physical.
We can all "share" positive memories or moments and gratitude but it doesn't stop a person from shitting where they (or you) eat.
So what if you had a "smile" in a school photo, that wouldn't change the abuse at home.
It wouldn't change the frustration of begging someone to STOP and they just continue.
