I mean I live in Germany. I don't think it means resistance to me. I rather imagine I was US citizen for example.

To that time there was a different mentality. Now we live in postheroic societies and life is considered more (relatively speaking important).
To that time I would have probably gone to war.

The idea behind this question is: would you sacrifice your own life if you knew the enemy was pure evil. And if you and your fellow people dodge this responsibility Hitler will reign over this world sooner or later. Your fellow citizens and loved ones will experience severe hardship probably.

I have psychosis I think I would not be of much help. But maybe I would do it. I am suicidal. I am scared of PTSD but I gonna die anyway. I go with maybe.

There is no clear answer to this.
It all depends on where you were born and in what family.

I am Polish, so of course my fate during World War II does not look good.
I would most likely fight against the Third Reich and the Soviet Union, but nothing is 100% certain.
For example, there is a chance that I could collaborate, but it all depends on the circumstances and my situation.
I think it is more likely that I would fight against the Germans than that I would not, but I do not think it would depend on me.

Most probably, yes. I'm an unfit short-sighted middle aged woman though so, chances are I'd be sent to the factories to build Spitfires or something. But, I'm British. So, even if I wasn't too keen on the idea, once our cities started being bombed, I'd be angry enough to retaliate. Could I kill a soldier directly? I'm not sure. I'd be more willing to help in the overall effort though. Medical aid. Building stuff. Something like that.

I actually admire pacifists more. My neighbour said he would refuse to fight in a war. I'm afraid I'm not so good at seeing the bigger picture though. I get angry when people I care about are threatened. Even if there might be just cause for the opposition to be threatening them. Sadly, I can understand why we keep killing one another. I don't think I'd be immune to wanting revenge.

I think it would be incredibly brave to oppose Nazi Germany within Nazi Germany. That's the real test. People like Oskar Schindler. I think we'd all like to think we'd do the right thing or even, know what the right thing was but, imagine the risk you'd be putting yourself and your family in. Imagine if they threatened to put you and your family in a concentration camp if you didn't comply. I expect most people would just flee rather than fight.

Besides- that kind of World War, I imagine it's either being conscripted or, jail.
