I was originally going to go with a gun or hanging. I decided a gun was too violent. Also, I have tried even full suspension hanging and apparently my carotid arteries are impossible to compress. So now I'm going to go with the exit bag. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

electrocution lost nerve. it was bday, nd there was also an eclipse felt right but failed
hanging chicken out nd got rope taken away for unrelated reasons

It takes so much will power to freaking do partial. I don't know how people succeed at it.

It seems like people can either compress their carotid arteries or they cannot. I have no idea how some people manage to lose consciousness so easily with partial while others can use the right rope, knot, put it in the right place, and do full suspension, and still not compress them.

Thank you. Honestly, the pain is just fucking suffocating. It's unbearable. I've tried to talk to a few people about it, but it doesn't seem like they can relate. Sometimes I wonder if people who kill themselves have some kind of gifted capacity for suffering. It's awful.

I haven't really changed my method, I'm still set on going via firearm. This is due to it's reliability, ease of use, and my ability to access them. Also, I figured that my upbringing was rough and shitty, so a violent end would be fitting. Dying by the tool and object I held reverence to.

I've thought about this. A large bore IV catheter and a big bolus of Heparin... almost too easy to bleed out. I imagine, though, there would be several very unpleasant minutes of shakiness and your heart desperately racing to try and compensate for the depleted fluid volume. Definitely should be sedated for this method.

I came across our site searching for information on how to commit suicide while scuba diving, but I've learned a good deal here about SWB and that is starting to seem easier, safer (no dive buddy that could inadvertently get hurt or drown should he try to rescue me on a dive) and probably less painful and traumatic.

Ahh I have the exact same problem Trashcan, seems my carotid arteries are flippin impervious too. I had another attempt last week but I just can't get it right so I've aborted hanging as my method of choice. I was reserved with mentioning my attempt on here, I feel a sense of humiliation in my failures even though I would never judge anyone about theirs (I'm a filthy hypocrite and a bully to myself hah).
I've now adopted the CO via charcoal burning as my new plan of action, I think that would suit me best with what options I have

It happens. Got to make sure whatever you choose goes smoothly. Suspension didn't work out for me...just couldn't go through with it. Decided on CO but my living situation interferes and I became worried about that ever so slight chance of being "saved." Finally decided on SN...foolproof. Better safe than sorry, I say. It's an incredibly big decision and should be made with much thought and very careful planning.

Yes, I was thinking of hanging years ago, then I was thinking of proper drowning, and after all discovered helium and N. Right now I am aiming to save my money for attempt to order N, or else I will obtain a helium tank, make an exit bag (it is possible to make it by yourself), or probably buy a mask and try to die this way.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I wanted to cut my femoral artery, but was unable to find the pulsation spot where it supposed to be.
