I often think that people go to therapy and take medication and the minimal benefit received is not worth the cost and resources spent.
I personally wonder what my life would have been like if I had never gone on any medication or never seen any mental health specialists. A lot of time and money was used on that stuff, probably well over $10,000 if not much much more. I don't have a car or own a home now. I wish I had that amount.
I don't really feel like either medications or therapy provided any benefit and wish I had just existed and either lived or died, but not depleted the resources of myself and others while enriching charlitan snake oil salesman, who offer lies about symptom relief when the costs are huge and symptom relief is minimal. Do others feel this way?
