But to be able to make that comparison you must first have climbed everest?!I do most times
What the hell? Are you from the future? never heard of these things.I have shower wipes - these are cloth wipes that foam up when you put them under running water. I use these to freshen up key areas such as the armpits, and the foam doesn't have to be washed off, you just dry yourself and you're done. I also have leave in shampoo that I can spray onto my hair.
You're not alone! I only discovered them fairly recently when searching for shower alternatives because regular baby wipes don't quite cut it. They've helped a lot. I use a brand called Scrubzz, they seem to be the best I've tried because they're quite large and foam up really well. What the hell? Are you from the future? never heard of these things.
That's exactly how I am, too. Keeping up appearances, shaving, grooming myself, dressing appropriately. It makes me feel bad in a way like I'm deceiving people by keeping up this facade and being unsuspecting of suffering any kind of mental or emotional anguish. I do it because I don't want people to pry or express concern for me.. but I would rather be remembered this way than looking disheveled and like I'd really fallen off the railsI'm the opposite. Since I don't have to pay a water bill since I'm in a college dorm (it's covered by my financial aid) I shower. If I don't shower I begin to lose my sanity since it relaxes me. If I was living on my own, then it'd probably be the opposite haha. Since I live with other people I'm forced to "keep up appearances" and look normal on the outside by shaving, showering, not repeating clothing etc. but if I was living on my own and NEETing I'd 100% stay in bed all day except to use the bathroom or barely eat something
Geo, thats so great that you now feel a difference from your brain fog. I'm happy that it went away for you and you were able to get back to doing some of the things that you hadn't wanted to do while on the medication, like showering and shaving. Bet you clear up well (:I worked in the City of London for 30 years, showered and shaved, suited, and booted every day, 12 months plus on risperidone I was a soap dodger my family had to force me to shower and shave, I couldn't believe it I had severe brain fog I thought I was brain-damaged.
Even after stopping them I had no will power, the brain fog continued, only after taking multivitamins C, D, and Cod Liver Oil by accident I noticed a difference, clean of all that poisonous shit, and I enjoy showering and shaving again but it's taken a good 15 months.
They still prescribe these and other pills like smarties and don't tell you of any side effects.
Cheers
Geo
Sometimes it's hard for me to do both, it's like the one thing was enough or all I could manage. What I have been doing and maybe it will help you too is take your toothbrush in the shower with you and it makes it much easier I find to brush them in there. No but brushing my teeth is!
One month is the longest I've went without a shower. I was in such a scary, dark place..I am now too, but was worse then.Absolutely. I'm like 4 weeks without a shower. I'll try taking one tomorrow. I feel disgusting
Oh yes, I would agree to the waking upChange showering for waking up and i would agree, a nice hot shower is enjoyable, its just getting out that sucks.
No, because it just an expression. But to be able to make that comparison you must first have climbed everest?!
SameEverything that requires me to move feels like a marathon.

It's like the very things that can help us sometimes are the very things that can destroy us, or what they think can help us, destroys us more than we were before. Sucks that it is like that. That's why I'm scared to go on anything. I was on Zoloft (Sertraline) for about ten years and didn't have any adverse reactions to it except sweating easily under my arms, but then got off for a long time and now I'm frightened to go back on them so it's like I'm stuck in limbo. Do you take the cod liver oil for the omega 3 ?

I hope that you will be able to manage a shower tomorrow. It does feel better after it's all over and I would love for you to feel better
