  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Does anyone here watch Poker Face on Peacock? The new episode just was uploaded and I'm sitting here watching with my wife, literally waiting for my SN to be delivered, and the character is mixing either sodium nitrite or sodium nitrate (it's in Spanish so I can't tell) like literally a salt in water in a pitcher and then another character injects this guy in the neck with it to kill him! Weird right? Awkward for me too; I wonder if they'll go into it. I think supposedly the character stole it from the gardener? I didn't know either had any garden use lol so maybe I'm wrong about what it is. They said the guy died from a heart attack after it was injected.

Also, this isn't really a spoiler because there's a new story every episode where someone is murdered. 😇

Edit: It's sodium nitrate. The characters talk about it only taking a few cc's to kill someone and that it's undetectable in the blood since it's a naturally occurring compound in the body.

I know nothing about medicine or biology or whatever, ok?
But I guess inject almost any liquid in your bloodstream could be harmful, right? There is a novel in my country that shows one character killing another by air injection which causes pulmonary embolism. Some random girl even saw that episode and used that to kill her mom. But is really a coincidence.

Yup! I think many things right into the veins or arteries can get the job done one way or another. I'm not sure if in the episode they were portraying the injection going into his veins though which is where my curiosity is! They just jabbed his neck with it. Because if you could die with an injection of that into your muscle or fat, I'm all about it.

I know I've been able to in the past with a lot of digging
