I've been reading some of the threads here and i want to give night night a try. A few hours ago, i tried 2 cable ties (Each is made of 2 shorter cable ties attached together) on my neck, one on the top of my neck and another on the bottom. I thought it would be enough and kept tightening them but I wouldn't pass out and eventually the top one snapped. The cable tie i had is long enough, but i didn't give it enough space when i attached the 2 cables together (not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, sorry English is not my first language). Anyway, it failed so i cut off the other cable tie.

I found this website today and found that night night is kinda similar to what i was trying to do. I just want to make sure i understand it correctly and that I can use what i currently have. I drew what i have on my mind and pls tell me if this is correct. (Lol sorry for the drawing)
What I'm planning is 2 cable ties again, but I'll put 2 rolled up socks on each side of my neck where my jugular is for added pressure. I felt my neck earlier and found where the pulse is, do I'm planning to put the socks there and use cable ties again to tighten and secure them. What do you guys think?

wow, that is the modified nightnight I was thinking of (had to search "rolled socks" to find)!

I haven't done the carotid compression tests (merely found them), also, I did a leg compression test, with 1 rolled sock and a sock to wrap... that seemed to fit well, but I didn't leave it on long enough to cause numbness coz I was merely testing whether it would have tension.

PS: it was slightly different, 2 socks and either a 3rd one to wrap, or something similar.

correct me if I'm wrong but don't you want to put more pressure on the carotid arteries?

mmm, I was wondering how much is enough... haven't done those basic tests tho, in case of reducing my brain cell count.

If you mean force the jugulars requires >2kg but make you head feel like it's about to explode, with direct pressure carotids are 3-6kg, however using a ligature around the neck spreads out the force so without the socks you could potentially need 10kg I think up to 20kg not sure abt with the socks though.
