Just a quick question. how many 5mg escitalopram tablets would it take to kill someone? or maybe 0.25mg alprazolam tablets? Please do let me know if u know something about this, I'm so sick of everything and I have been thinking for so long. Ofc I'm gonna think about my decision for some more. But please please pleaseeeeeeeee let me know. These are the only meds that I can get access to at this moment. It would be the biggest help that u can do for me;-;

It is not an appropriate method. Even if you have a massive amount of them both, it will be almost certainly not work and only cause you a lot of pain and lead you to the hospital.

Sorry for what you're going through, I wish i could help more

Nobody here is going to help you kill yourself. That said, this is not a viable suicide method.

It is relatively easy to work those things out using Google. Spoilers: an escitalopram overdose is an utterly horrible way to go (Google "serotonin syndrome"), and you would need to take a very large amount to be sure of dying.

All poisonings, including overdoses, depend on the amount taken compared to your size. Sometimes people die more easily than others for various reasons. Based on studies of rats, a person who weighs 70kg would need to take 21,000mg of citalopram to have a 50% chance of dying, which is 4,200 5mg tablets. That is far more than you have access to.

The equivalent figure for alprazolam is also 21,000mg, and because the tablets are smaller, you'd need to take 84,000 of them.

Note - we don't have precise info on the lethal doses, so I chose the low-end estimates. The high-end is nearly seven times as much.
