Call the emergency services immediately. If you have anything high in vitamin C such as orange juice, consume that. But the modt important thing is you seek medical help as they will likely administer methylene blue.

First, hide the sn very well where no one can find it. And second call the emergency services there is nothing you can do., they will help you. Prepare to be a few days in the mental ward.

But I haven't been drinking or anything, it's just a little bit that I think I might have accidentally spilled, or touched it with my hands, I don't know.
Should I still call the emergency room?

I feel that my pulse is racing...
Please help

Call for an ambulance if you're worried. I think you'll need to tell them you've taken or handled SN if you really want them to help you. I believe methylene blue is the antidote- I don't know if they carry it normally.

NO ! Please call the ambulance now or go to a hospital.

You have 2 options:

1. get medical treatment NOW
2. live with any permanent damage

your choice.

I think maybe you should tell your Dad you've had an accident moving a chemical and you don't feel well. If you're not ready- then- it's best to call an ambulance to be on the safe side. It's a risk either way really. I realise that your Dad finding out likely isn't what you want. Especially if you think this will all pass and the help won't be needed. Still- it's a big gamble. Your Dad may find you anyhow if you pass out or vomit. Maybe better to talk to him now.

SN is a powerful substance that will affect you even if you don't take it orally. However, I think fear is the main factor behind your racing pulse. From your description, I am sure you will be fine in no time. Some members described the sensations after touching SN as 'tingly' or 'dizzy,' but I haven't seen anyone say they had tachycardia merely from a fleeting contact with it, let alone die.
20g is generally the minimal lethal dose of SN, but it depends on your weight. You couldn't have dermally absorbed enough SN for it to be effective.
Since you spilled the substance, it's likely that you'll need to purchase it again. You opened the container, you let air in. In the process of oxidizing sodium nitrite turns into nitrate, which is unwanted.
Try to calm down. If it makes you feel better, take Vit C and drink water.

Hello everyone, thank you to all of you who came to my call for help, sincerely.

I'm fine, I've been in hospital all day. Apparently the blood tests have shown no symptoms of poisoning at all.

I guess it was mostly mental but, gosh, for a moment I thought I breathed the SN or something, and fear did everything else.

I don't know, nothing like that ever happened to me before. It's amazing what suggestion does to a person.

I guess I'm more afraid of dying than I thought I was...

I ordered the SN from Poland, and it came in a really crappy plastic bag that was torn in one corner....
What a piece of crap...
