Please help - concerns about taste of N and vomiting - need reassurance

I really need some reassurance. I can't risk survival of whatever method I choose. I am scared of vomiting up N if I end up going with that instead of jumping. I throw up very easily. I knew N tasted bad but I assumed it just tasted like bitter medicine. But I've seen it described by many people as vodka but much worse, or even everclear. I hate the taste of alcohol. Don't just dislike it, hate it. And not just hard liquor, even Irish cream makes me nauseous. Even one sip of vodka has made me vomit. Just the taste. Even sniffing the vodka makes me gag. The vodka comparison worries me because it's vodka that makes me the most nauseous and makes me throw up easily.

How am I supposed to keep the 200 ml of N down? I'm afraid I will vomit before I finish and I will waste $700 and survive. I need some way to disguise the taste. I can't go too slowly because you lose consciousness within minutes so I don't want to pass out before I've swallowed 2 bottles. Does it really taste like vodka? If it tastes like bitter medicine I can handle that. It's the alcohol taste that makes me vomit.

Can someone reassure me please? Is it that bad? I'm afraid some people who don't mind the taste are the type of people who like the taste of alcohol. Can someone who also gets nauseated by the taste of alcohol tell me how bad it is? My other option is jumping. I need my method to be very lethal. I can handle it tasting bad. I just don't want to throw up from the alcohol taste and waste all that money and survive. I took some Meto the other day and sniffed vodka and it still made me gag. I am in torture from my physical illnesses. I just want to get out. I am so afraid of surviving. Please reassure me.

I dont think vomitting N is all that common. By the time your body will initiate a vomiting reflex it will be stopped by the ever deepening sleep you will find yourself in. I never heard of anyone vomit N. Antiemetic are included in the protocol along fasting to be safe

I think it'll taste closer to crushed up ibuprofen compared to vodka. The alcohol content is the bottle of N is low I believe

I hope so, that's relieving. I sometimes let Xanax or Lunesta dissolve under my tongue and it's very bitter and disgusting but I can definitely handle it, unlike vodka. The comparisons to vodka scared me because it always make me vomit. But I can handle metallic/bitter-tasting medicine.

where can I find the protocol you're referring to?

Stat dose protocol
- fast for 8 hours
- have a light snack(tea and toast recommended
- take anti-emetics(meto and zofran recommmended by PPH)
- wait 40 min to an hour
- drink the N

I forgot if you have to wait a certain time after the light snack or not.
Also, AE isn't absolutely necessary, but it's recommended to lower your chances of vomiting and speeds up gastric emptying

Really need reassurance again. I'm panicking and I feel very frustrated. I'm so terrified of not being able to die. I was just practicing with vodka because I've seen so many comparisons to the taste. I hope that isn't the case but I was worried because the taste of vodka has always made me throw up so I was practicing desensitizing myself to it. I was feeling hopeful and slightly calmer for once just thinking about succeeding. I filled up a cold glass with 100 ml of vodka and tried to drink it. I was trying to gulp it down because I'll need to drink fast with N. I got to 50 mL and uncontrollably threw up everything - including the contents of my stomach from hours ago. I wasn't anywhere even near intoxicated, and I drank it under 3 minutes. It was the taste that triggered my gag reflex. I'm scared that this is something that doesn't happen with most people because I see people here even suggesting using vodka as a chaser. I'm scared. I can't risk surviving! I need to die!!! I'm so scared and frustrated. My only other option is jumping and I don't want to use a different method with a less than 95% fatality rate. Is this likely to still happen with N, when I fast before and take both Meto and Zofran? I just want to die!

I don't remember anyone here recommending chasing N with vodka. It's usually dark liquors like whiskey, or some liqueur like Bailey's.

Also, I don't think anyone here is really going to give you a satisfying enough answer. If you really want to figure out the taste for yourself get a syringe and do your own taste test. We don't know how your body will react

I've seen people suggest it and say they would be chasing it with vodka. I definitely wouldn't. I'm just so terrified of survival.

N is more so bitter than like strong alcohol, but it is still very chemical tasting with a strong after taste. If its any comfort the vet N is only 10% alcohol I believe.

Personally I feel like the best bet is to try and focus on what you're going to drink after to mask the taste but I understand your concern as its one of the best methods and expensive; not something you want to throw up.

I recall someone posting that they took the N with some honey, which helped a lot more than chocolates. You might want to experiment with that using vodka.

Someone else said something insightful as well on the same thread. It was along the lines of "mind over matter". If you really want to ctb (like 100% with an iron will), that strength may help you gulp it. Of course, keeping it down is another story. All I can think of is antiemetics for that.

I mean the only real way to know is if OP gets a syringe and takes a little bit out to taste for themselves. I've also heard of honey not doing anything at all to help, same with chocolates. Everyone's gonna react differently to the taste

Thank you, I experimented with vodka and chocolate and it helped, but I still throw up when I start gulping the liquid and get to the 50 ml mark. Vodka is my least favorite drink in the world, but for the sake of practice I gathered the strength today to gulp it down and I couldn't keep it down. I threw up everything. I hope the combination of the 2 anti-emetics will help. My worst fear is survival.

Thank you, I hope this is true, it's a huge relief to me every time I see someone say this. I have no issue with bitter-tasting medicines. They're disgusting but I can force myself to take them I really need to. It's liquor (even some wines) that makes me vomit, so the comparisons had me very worried.

Well anti-emetics should help prevent vomiting and extra strength orajel on the tongue will numb your taste buds. That's what I will be doing.
