Does anyone else get some kind of comfort from putting together the details of their plan? It helps me a lot with anxiety. It's usually assembling the small bits and visualizing and thinking about how I'd overcome certain obstacles that makes me feel in control of my life.

How are you planning on exiting

Yes. Just being on this forum helps to distract from my suffering weirdly enough. Knowing I have an exit plan makes me feel a lot better in general. There's comfort in knowing you have control over your own life, and if things get too bad that you have a way out.

Yes. And I will feel 100x better once the N gets here. I am sick of being alive.

The only comfort for me would be having some magic pill I could just take. I have nothing reliable. The only option I fear may be left to me is hanging. I wouldn't be able to do it

I feel some relief knowing that I have a way out now instead of being stuck here waiting for a natural death, but I will still feel anxious until I have the things needed to implement my plan.

my father's childhood friend passed away recently in her sleep and he thinks it may have been suicide

i want to know the method but it feels invasive to look into it. it sounded peaceful though so i can't help being curious

That is what I prey for. Not having the "suicide' label and implications of that for those left behind would also be huge.
