With the padding I had on my carotid, it only took about 10 sex's to pass out. I don't remember how tight the strap was, as I just kept tightening it a little at a time

After you passed out - what happened next? How did you come back?

The strap was loosened, as per my request before the test. I woke up just like anyone else regaining consciousness. Bit groggy for a couple of mins then mostly fine. Had a slight headache but that went away within an hour or so

  1. Night night method
  2. If that doesn't work I'll do Nembutal
How do y'all feel about these methods?
I think it really depends on the individual. For instance, the thought of jumping to death scares the shit out me, yet it remains a fairly common way to go.

Because it's cheap yet effective and cops won't seize it. I have a fear of cops finding Nembutal and getting prosecuted or something but i will risk it if night night doesn't work. The reason why im not going with SN is because I was told it's not as reliable as Nembutal and that SN will make you barf.

nembutal is first of all a sleeping medication - you wont get prosecuted

That depends on where you live. In Australia, it is illegal and if you have it, it will be siezed and you can be fined

Thanks, somehow I thought you had a strap with a ratchet mech.

I do, and did. If you know what you are doing, they can be easily loosened

Read mega thread for night night method. Planning on trying it later. Hoping its as good as it sounds. Previously set on partial suspension but always failed in commitment.

Read it all earlier. Managed to find duck tape and socks. Trial and error it will be.

I might end up having to get another strap. This one doesn't loosen up correctly. Either that or I'll only be able to practice this once and it will kill me.

Amen to that but do understand that many have things to do before they ctb. Just hoping I don't wig out. Everytime I planned on the partial suspension SI kicked in.

I did pass out from night-night while I was testing my setup. The strap was loosened before any real damage was done to me by someone I met on here, so I know that it works
Did you have the strap high or low on the neck?
What did you use to compress your carotids? Bean bags?
Did you experience strong skin pinching with the ratchet tie-down? In my experience, the skin pinching is particularly focused on a small area of the neck skin and I don't have a good solution for that. I don't remember this happening when I made ligature strangulation experiments with a rope.

I hear just enough alcohol to get your inhibition lowered will be good to help get the SI out. Like 1 shot of whiskey or vodka.

All I have readily available is beer. Think I'll pass on that though.

It's actually quite comical. Sat up in my bed. One cats eerily got his eye on me. Not passed out. One of two choices keep going with the tape or start over. Perhaps I'll just sleep with it on

I had the strap just above the Adam's apple. To compress the carotid, I had socks tightly rolled up, but have bought small wheat bags but are yet to try them. I did have skin pinching just below the ratchet. To stop this, I put a tea towel between it and my neck.

Tried again but with tape tighter(hope I don't run out) literally can just faintly feel my pulse via cartoids. Wouldn't mind but unwinding the tape is noisy

All it would take for me to overcome SI is having a method readily available.

If a gun was here, I'd definitely be gone. If I was standing on a bridge, I'd definitely jump. Sharp knives, I'd cut myself. I stay away from all that stuff for the sake of the children, LOL. For the sake of bullshit society wanting me to live for some damn reason.

Anyone had any positive outcome using duct tape? I'm close but only feel anything like passing out after using my hands to push the cartoids

I used duct tape to wrap the bean bags around my neck into place. Other than that i haven't tried to compress the cartoids with tape alone.

Apologies I've used socks instead of bean bags. Tried a belt instead of tape earlier but was nowhere near tight enough

I sewed the bean bags myself so I could control their size. It wasn't too difficult.
Didn't the ratchet tend feed in and coil up the tea towel? There's a strong grip to whatever is below the strap where the strap is coiled up.

It was the ratchet mechanism that I was padding with the tea towel, not the strap
