@LastRide It would have to be worded out in a legally binding last will and testament, and they still have to find a body to declared you deceased. A missing person can still be decorated legally dead, but it takes like 6 months of missing with no leads or body found.
Bloody hell, all the stuff you have to work out....it's getting more and more complex by the minute ! And I was so naive to think just take that shotgun and blast...and done ! No no no, all this legal and admin stuff is ruining my fun to work out my ctb plan ! I just thought I was being nice to avoid anyone having to find me with my head missing and the brains spread out !

Another human being dying is a traumatic event regardless, that's just how our brains are wired as a social species. It got us here today.

Most of that legal stuff is afterwards and most people don't really think/care about it since it's a headache and it mainly works itself out through either the coroner or family. Compare, if you will, Hunter S Thompson and Kurt Cobain.
