I think "love" for the person or the actions of the person also do matter though. At least for me.

dating apps are pretty much just for shallow people to form connections. you won't find anything authentic on there in my experience. you might find some people on there who genuinely are looking for a connection but yeah idk. apps aren't the place to meet people. i think hobbies are best for that.
