Thank you! She is my beautiful geriatric asshole. I gotta show off her pretty eyes too

this is my baby, Cindy. Had her since she was a kitten, she's about 20 years old now. We grew up together and share a very close bond, I try to get over to my dad's every week to visit her for a snuggle sesh.

She is precious ♡

Do they show signs of affection? How?

If I'm lucky I should get another 10 years out of her and no, they don't show any sign of affection . They're either docile and receptive to the occasional handling, or they're not

Spiders terrify me, but snakes I can get behind. I have only handled a few in my life, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. They are beautiful and mesmerising.

He's why I'm around still. Without him I would have done it so much earlier in my life. He was the replacement to our beloved Chow who passed a couple months ago.

Thank you for making this thread by the way. Seeing pets numbs me and protects me from the thoughts. Probably why I give my puppies so much attention.

Edit I mentioned in another thread that he's the one who saw me almost CTB. Him walking on me made me rethink my thoughts.

What a cutie! What breed is this? See, he's a lifesaver!

He's Big Dude. Funnily enough, he's pretty small but he was the largest in his litter.

Here's our beloved Chow Chow named Kesha. She was quite honestly the best dog I have ever had. I wrote a little bit about her in another thread. She really knew the pain of existing.
