They are Brave in an slightly dark and alternative sense of the word. depends on your perspective but I really don't know how you would overcome your si in jumping. I find it both fascinating and shocking.

if that was your only choice could you do it? I don't know if I could. Even despite how miserable I feel. I think what bothers me is the remnants of my physical form plastered over the ground like a bloody Jackson pollock painting

I'd have to be a lil tipsy and it'd have to be in an area with no frequent passerby's and security. I'd also fall back rather than forward. Would do it just as the sun is rising as a middle finger to the morning (my most hated time of day).

If I was anywhere high enough, and I was able to shake my nerves with a drink and give myself the time to stand there for a moment and sike myself up. Do you ever get those short burst of certainty and confidence that you can feel deep within your chest like "I got this" and it can all be over in a second? then I would like to think I could do it. I don't live near anywhere I would consider high enough and don't have the intention of travelling there either, so it's out of the question for me

The only way I could do it is by taking lots of sleeping pills and alcohol while I'm standing at the edge of a very tall building.
I guess I would fall down sooner or later but I'm sure in spite of being "drugged", I wouldn't want to jump lol.

I always admire those who jump. How can they do it voluntarily? Just amazing.

Honestly I think I could do it, but I don't live near anywhere high enough. Once I'm there I could probably lie to myself and either run and jump, fall backwards, or jump off with my eyes closed.

I thought I possessed the guts to jump but i travelled to some beautiful cliffs and I became froze by SI and couldn't do it so I know for me as much as I think I could do it the reality of it probably requires skills I don't have

Some peoples inner demons give them that strength. I guess when you know it's bad I guess a few seconds to a minute isn't really a bad takeaway. I don't know. Just the thought of botching it and passing later in agony. To much to go wrong even with adding large amounts of height.

Considering my alternative is drowning? Yes I would do it if it's actually enough of a height to be 99% lethal. If I lived in NY I'd probably be dead already.

Also jumping hurts. I think the fantasy some have of "death in an instant" with jumping and many many other methods we talk about here, is very misplaced and much more thought and homework should be done. You can put 2 into a persons head and they can still take 15 minutes to die. Jumping can leave you in pain for up to an hour. Your body has to shut down all the way! It has to stop cycling blood and air. Any medic will tell you this. This is why we want to be "asleep/ unconscious" asap in any method, or very very drunk! When you hit the ground all your broken bones are felt inside your torn and swollen limbs. Look at the videos! You cant breath because your lungs are popped or swollen which means you are awake for that trauma! You have to take your romantic imagination out of the picture here! This is not an artistic cartoon or a manga. Many of these types of methods will take a long time for your body to be in PAIN and SHOCK while it waits to die. Also keep in mind your body systems are meant to keep you alive during many many failsafes! This is what you have to overcome with a well put together method. This is why all methods are hard but there is a top five and anyone going below that better double check if they carried that pesky 2 or not in their equations.

I watched with my own eyes that.

some dude jumped where i lived from like the 10th floor (i lived in the 8), And i heard him crashing against the street like a huge explosion, I thought he was obviously destroyed but when i looked down it was moving in the floor and screaming in pain like a football player, all in a pool.of blood

he died later that day, it was horrible, the sound is just unforgettable

I was telling people here to look at videos on "best gore" but the site is gone now. They was hangings and gang retaliation and suicides. A man climbed a cell phone tower in his jungle village which was maybe 100 ft or more tall. He jumped in front of everybody! He landed on the grass and he was broken and started to swell but he was alive and moving. He couldn't scream because his chest might have been broken inside. The person with the camera got right up to him and kept recording. I dont know how long he lived or if he did live but that was not the way to go. Its very sad and scary. Wanting to die but getting hurt like that because of a bad decision. This is a good warning to anyone with any method. Double check the possibilities as much as you can. You don't touch the ground and wake up in heaven instantly. The body HAS to pass on. This is why most people want to go by using medication and overdose. Painless and unconscious is exactly what someone would want.

There's still other sites around and they're not even hard to find (if you type words like "gore" into google). Providing your comfortable watching videos like that, I actually find them useful as a great research tool, especially in regards to failure/complications.

Yes thats exactly why I was watching them and sharing it here with others. When you see an uncensored death without the lense you can see what you actually have to do to get out of here. The body HAS to die and it doesn't want to. You have to TAKE your life literally! You have to commit not pretend. Going through all of that pain is bad enough but if you actually dont do a method correctly you will be more hurt and still end up "stuck here" when the rescue people come and fix you up wether you like it or not. It's a real concern for many here and its also one of the things that stops most people from trying. A fail is a bad bad thing.
Also in many videos people turn off the camera right after the act. Very seldom does someone have the brains to "keep rolling" and then we can share the entire ending. Not because its fun but because its very needed. We need to realise what death actually is or we will always be acting in the way we to thinking it wont happen to me. We are a miserable people here and we need to get woke up so we can start to turn this thing around. It will take a long time but we need to start somewhere.

There are many places on the internet where you can check videos for a lot of methods as mentioned in the posts above. If you do still choose jumping make sure you do lots of investigation. ❤

Don't take my word for this, but I have read that at extremely high heights (like 100m) death is pretty much instantaneous as the force is so large that the internal organs are completely destroyed upon impact. Again take this with a grain of salt. This is just other people's estimations, but I haven't found any studies to corroborate this scientifically. I think the potential, however, is there for there to be prolonged severe pain, if you land a certain way etc.

I'd love to see some statistics on this but I'd imagine it's hard to find.

Right, and this is why people should look up how high you need to be and then look for a place at or near or above that level. Is golden gate that high? I think people jump from the sidewalk level and only the most determined climb past the suicide nets to get above on the towers where the cables are. Also many buildings have suicide nets like Empire in NY. I agree that a hard impact would be best but who actually has access to so edging so high and usually a roof is very secure. The ones that are not secure might be to low.
