I think that highly depends on how the world will end to be fair.
If there's a huge meteor coming, and it will smash first into the place where I live, sure, that's fine, I'll stick around for that, I'll be dead in an instant, have great food in the meantime, visit the person I love most on this planet, get meteor-pancaked.
If the meteor will crash on the opposite side of the planet from where I live, I think ctb would be in order. Otherwise you will be living through hell, where the ocean evaporates, the sun is dimmed from the impact of the meteor strike and the dust ejected into the atmosphere, possibly releasing radioactive material. Plant life will die, it will be dark and dusty, survival will be an absolute nightmare and most likely some apocalyptic scenario along the lines of cannibalism and infighting will ensue. In that case, I would ctb, maybe not before the impact but a few days later after it's clear how it'll go and after I've checked in on the one I love.
There are other options of how the world will end, and depending on the odds I'm playing in each scenario, I'd die naturally, or I'd ctb, or maybe I'd even try the survival trip just for the fun of it, if I got the right company.
