• Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Good looking people who kill innocent people get forgiven as well.
Medias depiction also vary. Good people tend to presented in a good way, and bad people in a bad way. This also goes for the photos that are selected. I think that skews the perceived attractiveness quite a lot.
You can often see what the media outlet thinks about someone by just looking at the pictures.

When an incel revenges society for its wrong doings, he's a weirdo who deserves to go to prison and rot to death. When a hot guy murders someone, he's a hero who deserves an award.

I get that Elliot Rodger murdered innocent people and Mangione killed a true criminal, but trust me, it's waaaayyyy more about their looks than the nature of the murder. I believe that if Mangione was ugly, he wouldn't have gotten so much praise from society. It's not the first time that a good looking criminal gets forgiven for his crimes. Cameron Herrin, Jeremy Meeks etc. American society is bullshit. People are bullshit.
Yeah, it's something that irked me. Don't get me wrong though, as much as I think looks play a part I do think the actual motive behind Mangione is a lot more popular than Rodger though.
