Oh, I definitely agree. All I have from trying to interact with other people is tonnes of unprocessed trauma. But sitting alone in my room rocking back and forth is almooost even more painful than what they did to me

I agree 100% with you @Un- as far as I am 65 years young and all through the decades I have seen so many jerks and back stabbers..etc The one thing that I will say, that counters the crappy people is all of the genuine people here on Sanctioned Suicide. I am no smarter, dumber probably!, than everyone BUT I do have a lot of life experience and YES people can be very painful. There is a diamond in the ruff once in awhile but at least in my case that is why I have no friends. Too many times of getting burned by so called "friendship". BUT I, same as you, have our global family here that really does love, understand and SUPPORT you, me and everyone. Walter

Words really do have the power to hurt us. The worst part is that everything is stored inside our minds and there is no erase button, time doesn't always heal pain. People can be so cruel. I would honestly prefer to isolate myself from others, I simply don't see it as worth it as I have been hurt by people in the past.

I hate people in general, but I kinda need some social interact. It's really confusing.

This reminds me of the quote, "Hell is other people". I believe it's usually misquoted and that the original meaning was more about feeling judged, but I identify more with the way most people misinterpret it.

If I could fix my problems with other people and be likable, I probably wouldn't want to CTB. Hard to survive peacefully as a social animal if you can't stand other people.
