Since this will probably cause a lot of confusion in the very near future, I'm making a post about it.

About 2 hours ago, Exit International updated the PPeH again. In this update, they removed the contact details of D (both the ctemplar and proton email) and replaced them with a new, completely different email address.

Since it did not look legit, I sent an email to D's old Proton email address asking to confirm this change and received this answer:


So it appears to be legit on first sight. However, please still be careful.

In addition, A has now been completely removed from the PPH. Do not order from him, you will most probably just lose your money.

As per forum rules, I will not post the new email address, but you can find the old ones (which are still in use as confirmed above by D) in the PPeH uploaded by @RainAndSadness in the resource section.

Also, it appears Exit is now adding watermarks to their books to make it more difficult to upload it elsewhere. For that reason, it will most probably become harder for Rain (or others) to share updates of the book in the future. For now this does not matter that much since the old email addresses of D are still in use, but in the future I expect things to become more complicated =(

Update: it appears D confirmed to someone he will close his ctemplar account in 5 days. Nothing is known for the moment about his protonmail account. @RainAndSadness will attempt to upload the new PPH version with the updated contact details over the next few days.

It's not about that. They put some barely visible unique code on random pages now, so they can identify and ban people who share their book.

A watermark. Interesting, but not impossible to overcome. I have an active paid Adobe Acrobat Pro subscription, you can remove such things. If anyone wants to give it a try lmk.

It shouldn't be hard to remove, but they add it to random pages (and different ones every time), so you'd have to go over every single page, find it and remove it.

There's a way to remove all at once. Tbh, even if I had to go page by page i would do it. Exit charges too much and is too exclusionary imo. People shouldn't be kept from information just because they aren't seniors or have a terminal illness. It's like Exit is saying you have ownership over your life, but only if...

I know it's not free, but could also buy a hard copy version on amazon. It's about $100. The latest version in print is still the April version, so worth waiting. But if you're dropping several hundred on N, might be worth buying the hardcopy of the book to verify the address.

There's a new supplier added, but there haven't been any verified sales yet.

Ah man, I deleted my previous emails to D's proton address and just refreshed the pph without saving the old address. I guess it doesn't really matter but I would have liked to save it for the sake of prosperity. I can probably remember it to be fair but don't trust my memory.

Might be totally not related but I think the reason D change address is because the current one is too "giveaway" ? I would definitely choose something more low profile

ye might be a reason too, althugh it is also a way for losing some clients i think, since not everybody will be able to track those changes.

Negative. I just wanted to get to work but lost access to the PPH for no reason out of nowhere. Odd...

The consequences of these very sudden developments is that I'm unable to copy the PPH for now. Sorry people. But I doubt this is a technical issue. So if there is nobody else filling my place, that's the end of the PPH updates for the foreseeable future. I'm dissapointed that I'm unable to deliver better news but that's the situation for now.

I think we will have to create a competitor of PPH, a kind of Wikipedia, and just update the contacts for N, SN, etc.

I think that if several members of this forum have PPH, together we can make a free and reliable competitor to PPH and to Exit, which eventually became a real VIP prison door, where only people over 50 years old or having certain illnesses, can borrow it, with photo and identity document required. Friends by working together to reconstitute the competition, Exit will no longer be able to identify people who have shared BTC modes and contacts who are, by nature, general public, not subject to copyright. No law prohibits creating competition with databases from the public domain!

Unless I'm mistaken, CTB's methods are not subject to copyright, let alone patents for inventions!

You have to know how to completely do without the dependence of a single entity, as here, Exit International, and know how to cross various sources to extinguish the reliability of the information to create free competition from PPH, and to cite, of course, the sources.

This forum has "resource" threads, making it a reliable Wiki could help people at CTB, voluntarily disappear if it is an alternative that can avoid CTB, or clawback for people who want support and hope to live, without quitting. 'we put pressure on them, freedom above all! Each one has his existence as he wants, and as proof that our body belongs to us, only ourselves suffers, never the others, who can not be satisfied to help in case of distress, if they want to help of course.

Seems like a mix of business and legal precautions are the reason for the exclusivity with pph. I can understand the latter but I'm not fond of the apparent business model side of things. Dor what it's worth, you can get access to the pph through exit even if you're under 50. As long as you're of a reasonable age and have id to prove it you can negotiate from a logical stand point. That is to say that if you have health issue that genuine impact your quality of life they will consider accepting your application as a spwcial circumstance. Unfortunately if your health issues are of a psychological /MH nature they won't give access.

What isn't great is that they take payment and then ask questions and if you've paid in crypto then your refund isn't going to happen very quickly if at all. I would suggest first of all contacting them with a query detailing a brief explanation of your individual situation. They will then probably prompt you to apply for the pph. This is how I've heard it go for a few people. They still asked questions after putting the payment through and some people had to stick to their guns to finally get the access they paid for. I think they're worried about pro lifers etc. So if you make it clear that you were prompted to put the order through by exit after your first query that will go in your favour ans hopefully avoid extra scrutiny. They can't refuse access after that really as long as you can provide the picture with ID. They shouldn't really accept payment without being certain they will honour the sale but it appears they have with many people so you really need to spell it out for them to avoid hiccups. They will probably ask for medical proof too but not everyone has a diagnosis so if this is the case you should make it clear in your first enquiry to them so that they know this is the case. A lot of people have a fast deteriation in their health/quality of life while they're going through the process of getting tests and investigations. It can take years to get a diagnosis and relevant treatment and during that time people fear losing the ability to make a decision and/or take action before sickness takes it away. I would hope that Exit still empathise with this predicament.

So yeah, taking all that into consideration it's not impossible to gain access to pph if you're sick but under 50. There are just a few hoops and hurdles to jump through and navigate. Unfortunate though it is!

Some of the blame has to be aimed at the state of society at large and their sensitivity to the matter. It creates a legal minefield and you can see a lot of legal flags in the wording and tactics surrounding the purchase of the PPH. It's clear they have a lot of legal advice and act on it. It does definitely seem like a bit of a convenient justification for the business model side of things though. It's unfortunate.

I didn't update the PPH since August. The code didn't exist back then. And I found out about that code immediately, that's why HopelessFight knows about it.

For people's information, I'm discussing this issue with Rain in private at the moment, hopefully finding a solution so the community keeps their access to reliable N sources. That's all I can say about it for the time being.

I'm sorry, but for the time being I am unable to post any updates about the PPH and so does Rain. A lot has been going on behind the scenes, but for now I do not think it's a good idea to comment about it in public.

Hey, I just wanted to update here, since I know people are concern about D and getting N.
I contacted him about a week ago, with the details from the Aug PPeH, continued to purchased from him - paid with bitcoin, and got the package pretty fast, everything went well. So he is still legit and the address is good.

Im really relieved I did this before things getting more complicated now. But anyway, I hope we can work out those issues and keep having updates.
