  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

In the past week, the thought of death and suicide has brought me nothing but peace. I want it so bad and I just want my suffering to end.
Something is holding me back though.
How do I come to terms with the finality of death?

I believe nobody can tell you that. You will feel it in your heart when the time is right.

Yes, I know what you mean. Just the thought of that relief of no more worries, no more trying, no more pain is incredibly appealing. More appealing than anything life seems to offer.

Hmmm, have you really questioned what it is that's holding you back? I think for a lot of us, it is fear of the process itself- obtaining everything needed for our chosen method in the first place and the intense worry that it might fail.

Still, if it's the 'finality of death' that is troubling you- maybe there are still things you want to do/ experience while you are still alive?

It's not a fear that is easy to comfort I'm afraid. I suppose there's the reasoning that death happens to everyone at some point and when it's happened (depending on your belief system) you'll no longer be worrying or afraid of anything.

Like the previous post said though, I have a feeling that people kind of know when it is there time to go- perhaps when the fears they have seem slightly less than the desire to get the hell out. I wish you all the best- whatever you decide to do.

I personally find the fact that death is so final to be what makes the thought of it so comforting. I believe that when we die, we simply cease to exist and that is it for us, we are gone. We won't even be aware of the fact that we are dead. This is simply inevitable for us, as humans it's our fate to die and be forgotten about.

Eventually we likely won't even exist in the memories of those who are still in this world. Death is the most natural thing ever yet humans make such a big deal about it, as this existence is all that they know and as humans we have this instinct to survive. But people shouldn't fear death as it's inescapable. To me, to die is the best thing possible. It's always been what I've wished for. All our problems and suffering will instantly go away and instead there will be nothing for all eternity.

Death is the hardest thing most of us (if not all of us) face in our lifetimes.

Simply put: No one asked to be born or to be cursed with certain things in life and death, well, is the same reward for living a life either full of absolute purpose & honour or sheer waste and being nefarious.

I think you embrace death the way you choose to do it. I respect death and I accept it, I just find it hard to call it quits for good because I always think I have one more chance in me to turn things around.

Choose what makes sense to you and then accept it.
