  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I am part of an association that campaigns for the legalization of assisted suicide, euthanasia, in my country.

I have noticed that, for many years, decades, the mails sent by this association are put directly in the spam box, despite multiple reports, to Yahoo, that it is not spam!

Other emails from other associations which also campaign for the legalization of assisted suicide, euthanasia, in my country and in other countries, are considered spam by Yahoo!

Yahoo does not warn if you receive spam in your spam box, by the absence of the number of spam in this spam box.

I wonder if Yahoo is purposely preventing its users from learning about the legalization of assisted suicide, euthanasia, pro-choice movements!

I noticed that Sanctioned Suicide's emails all go to the spam box!

I strongly suspect Yahoo to be pro-life! Yahoo often allows religious, sect, and pro-life lobbies to pass without considering them as spam!

Other mailboxes, like Gmail, don't do that!

This is good to know, and while I use both email service providers, I'm wary of these things. Even if Gmail doesn't do that, we know Google likes to collect information and stuff and is much larger than Yahoo, I'm still uncomfortable in having anything related to CTB go through Gmail or Google.

It's not surprising really. There's no escape from pro life views pretty much everywhere in this world, to me it's ridiculous wishing to censor anything suicide related when all that we are destined for is to die anyway. There's nothing wrong with wanting to permanently solve all problems and free ourselves from all suffering.
