  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

What can be used instead of rope for partial? I'm thinking things that you might find in the home?

I've used a variety of things around the house while trying partial out to try and find the sweet spot. I've used cords, belts, even clothing I've tied in a way to hang myself.

People use everything from belts and shoelaces to scarfs and wires.
I'd just buy a rope tho - if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right and the last thing you want is a half-assed, failed hanging attempt.

You wrap tightly around your neck when practicing to find the sweet spot?

I'm not sure, I did it alone, so there was nothing to make me come out of it. I don't know if whatever I use shifts and allows me to breathe or what, but I really don't know why I came out of it.
