My chosen way to go is partial hanging but first I'd like to know from people who tried it before: what failed or what made you fail using this method?

the knot loop is the hardest part to make sure you have the rope tied tightly or else it is not gonna work dude
also if you are doing it from the ceiling make sure it can hold your weight so you do not fall over

I practiced it and lost consciousness for 1.5 minutes. Now I have brain damage. If you're going to do it, then make sure you don't let yourself black out. 15 seconds max! I didn't think I could be more miserable than I was but now here I am :-/

I tried a full suspension hanging when I was a teenager, and found myself hanging freely once I walked off a stool. The reason I survived was that I used towels tied together and the knot slipped. It was an early not thought out attempt.
Since my chosen way now is partial suspension, I would be certain that the knots and loops are solid and tied well to a beam or really strong support.
Can't find the right arteries to compress. anything I used just made my head feel like it was going to explode. But right now I wouldn't mind my head exploding

I am sorry your first try failed. You should only need to do it once. Plan partial carefully. There are a lot of ways it can fail. Best of luck!

No, but try to anticipate a little thrashing/ wiggling as the body does its thing. I hear reports of that knocking people loose and then they wake up on the floor. Full or partial, make sure everything can hold your weight with some motion factored in.

I practiced this method. I'd say it's an effective way to go. Partial hanging does require a lot of practice and trying different ligatures to make it work best.
I had this so many times. You have to make sure you're pressing on your carotids and not your jugulars. It took me weeks to find the sweet spot. There doesn't need to be much pressure applied for it to work. Whenever I got the head-explode feel, I pulled back and tried a different position on my neck.
Mine was nerve damage. I got addicted to the numbness that came right before losing consciousness. I did it one too many times, and in the days afterward, I also lost feeling in my left pinkie toe and left thumb. To this day, my left thumb still sometimes spazzes out and becomes frozen, and sometimes I can't feel the tips of that toe.

Man, it really is more difficult than it sounds, but its also not rocket science….

ive tried about 4 times with bedsheets idk what i did wrong .. cause kate spade did it with a scarf :( its my chosen method too since im not able to get anything else
