I've been looking at threads about partial hanging for a bit now, and each time I just keep getting more confused. At first I just thought blocking the carotid would be enough but then I saw a lot of comments about people saying that they end up blocking some other vein (jugular I think) which just ends up being painful. I also saw that I can pass out if I put enough force on my carotid arteries, I've been trying that for a while but it just ends up hurting a bit and getting a weird feeling in my mouth till I have to let go since my hand starts getting sore. The only thing I'm sort of sure about is the rope I'll use which is nylon but I've seen people talk about neckties and belts but I'm a bit skeptical about those. Where I'll tie the rope is another thing I'm confused about. The easiest is can do from what I've read is a door knob or a window railing/guard but then again I saw a lot of people just not succeeding with this. I could try higher on the windows but still not sure about that. One more thing is whether I need to take something to lower my inhibitions, alcohol or whatever. And is it really true that I'll pass out within a minute? I'm completely overwhelmed on the information and how to go through with partial hanging. I'm tired and I just want it to be over already. Any help is appreciated. Sorry if anything I said is incorrect or false.
Edit: Oh one more thing, after one of my attempts to block my carotid arteries with my hands I started shaking a lot, especially my fingers. I don't know what that could mean, does it perhaps mean that it was working?
