• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

This world scares the hell out of me. There's no certainty. It has no answers. My brain seeks structure, causality, explanation, but the world itself has no answers. Or rather, the answer is right in front of us, but it's terribly boring and even tragic. I realize that I live and that I will have to die someday, and that I am just a grain of sand for the vastness of the universe. An infinitesimal grain of sand. And that brings pain.

I just see the existence of life as being a horrific tragic mistake, there's no deeper meaning or purpose behind any of this, existence is just unnecessary suffering and senseless cruelty. For me the only relief lies in the fact that this will all be forgotten about someday, I see humans as being temporary and impermanent beings just waiting to become nothing.

I share your perspective, and what concerns me deeply in our world is the prevailing belief that 'having a family, a job, and paying taxes is all that matters, this is reality'. This statement is one I strongly disagree with. I struggle to comprehend how many individuals on this planet either face difficulties or are simply unwilling to acknowledge the vastness of reality beyond our earthly realm, spanning across the cosmos and extending beyond the observable universe.

Our society often places excessive focus on immediate concerns, disregarding the pursuit of scientific research and exploration to unravel the mysteries of the universe, including yet unknown laws of physics. Instead, we prioritize trivial matters such as choosing between detergents for different types of clothes or deciding what to have for dinner.

If society continues to overlook the broader reality and fails to shift its perspective, I find it challenging to envision the existence of this civilization 500 years from now. I yearn for a world where more individuals direct their energy and determination toward the acquisition of knowledge, including universal knowledge and scientific facts, rather than being consumed by primitive pleasures, wealth, and mundane jobs.
