I have a lot of tooth pain again. There is a retracted gum-line near the root canal-led tooth at the back that now hurts. Sharp shooting pain into my eyes.

The only reason I am still here is because of family. But please tell me people: Is it worth it? Is it worth-it to live with pain this bad such that others don't have to suffer ?

The question is: Do we have to suffer this much every day, just so our family doesn't have to suffer because of our death?

Honestly, I don't think so. I can't carry this pain on my own, moreover I never chose to be born.

Tooth pain is horrific, I'm dealing with my own set of dental issues. I had a root canal but that's not my problem tooth, it's the one that's alive for me that gives me grief sometimes, it's probably due for a root canal because a huge chunk of it broke off a while back but I have yet to come up with a way to materialize money out of thin air. I would have pain on the whole side of my head sometimes for hours non stop, or waking up laying on that side was killer. I'll tell you what minimized the pain for me, maybe it'll help maybe it wont. regular brushing, at least twice a day helped for me but I'd say for you get the softest bristle toothbrush you can, also regular mouthwash at least once a day, I'd also swish hydrogen peroxide in my mouth at least once a day rinse your mouth really good after and colloidal silver swishing. Pretty much reducing as much bacterial stuff that's happening in your gums. Also reducing sugar helped too and chewing on the other side as often as possible as to not get stuff lodged in the crevices.

Yesterday I was by an dentist because i have since three years so much pain in a
wisdom tooth down right. the tooth broke and now there is almost only the root left. I have an appointment next week to have the remainder removed because I do not want to take so much painkillers anymore. I wonder all the time. Should i remove em now? Or just let it be in rason to ctb soon.

I am sorry that you are suffering...
If you can... i would to pull it out.

We underestimate what a broken tooth or chronic inflammation can cause to our system / body.

I'm so surprised to see this today. I'm so sorry you are having tooth pain. I just had a dentist re fill a filling only have the same pain return and looks like I may need a root canal.

^^^^ What Moony21 said is right we can underestimate what a broken tooth can cause to our body.

Hi man. Thanks for replying. I can see by your post you are really intelligent. Does your dental situation cause depression?
For me, I almost can't bear the fact that I have a root canal. It caused trauma in and of itself; It makes me feel asif I failed. I might stand the chance of getting it pulled. It also itches every day. This aggrevates my depression.

Is this also a source of your suicidality?

Dental pain appears to be a chronic problem in some cases which might only result in a bunch of teeth extracted. Many don't realise the kitchen-sink qualities that dental pain has; that in some cases it creates vivacious trauma - as in my case.

I mean, dental issues stole my life in ways I cannot express. I feel "lesser" than most people my age with good teeth, and an ability to be pain free. I envy them. I lost my beautiful smile, and sit with only parts of a memory of a representation of a youthful me; which was my smile.
I had good teeth once, and now lost it to the hand of fate.
I am unable to socialise, or smile at pictures; I do not allow myself to meet women because I do not think I am worthy of them. I feel like a hill billy or soon-to-be one as our teeth in todays age determined our net worth and health to the opposite sex; I cannot feel I trust my ability to attract a woman into my life if I lost my opus; I am like a peacock with torned feathers. No point.

I am now a closet misanthrope sitting at home in my parents' house without a purpose or future. I am an unemployed scientist, depressed, in pain, and in fear. My life is destroyed. The only people I see are the ones I talk to when no one is around at home. At least my imagination creates better friends than those projected by this pleroma of a world. I pray for death to come...
