Long time lurker here, first time poster. I'm wondering about ODing as it seems like, given it works it should be relatively painless. I would like some input from the community, however, as to the practicality of this method, and it seems to me it is. If that's the case I think maybe we need to expand SS info on the area?
There's an epidemic out there (here in Canada at least, I know from the news the US too) of people dying of ODs via opiates because they are cut with fent - or presumably in some cases they take too much? Access is not really an issue, with dealers - yes you can find one - and more importantly reliable dark web markets and vendors you can get your hands on something that will work.
My understanding, from pop culture and PPEH is that morphine can be used for euthenization and sometimes is by doctors. For many of us, who are not users we presumably have no tolerance and can calculate a reasonably accurate lethal dose and overdue it a little to ensure success. Perhaps I'm wrong here because of factors like nausea idk, feel free to make corrections, but presumably like in other methods something could be taken to settle your stomach or you could use benzodiazepines?
So on the dark web in particular, although dealers too, you can get a whole host of opiates whose strength is directly compared to that of morphine. Examples, by name and potency relative to morphine (of the easier ones to get i.e. not fent):
Despite this I have seen many posts against ODing even on hard drugs, and I am wondering why exactly? The PPEH seems to consider it a valid method, the substances are obtainable and any hurdles seem overcomable to me.
Next I would like to provide a rough, and preliminary example that people can help build on who have better knowledge about this than me. Or if it's entirely invalid, shoot it down but use evidence please so we don't remove a possible method for no reason as well as it will help me and others to learn.

Preliminary Example:
- Using TOR and market/vendor of your choice (or dealer if that's what works for you) buy your opiate of choice, I am going to go with Hydrymorphone for this example is it appears relativity abundant and is of higher potency.
- At the same time buy benzodiazepines or something that helps with the OD - I don't know, input is needed here
- Purity test, you can buy test kits, some come tested already here in Canada (there was a vendor selling with lab results etc from UVic)
- Calculate lethal dose - I have a general idea but want input before putting any numbers
- Make sure you have the space and time as the effects are reverse able via Naloxone etc
