If you can get Dilantin you can mix a lot into a solution and cause a heart attack. It's better to find something to knock you out into a coma first before it hits though so less painful.
Dilantin is a prescription medicine. I was wondering if there is a step process of over the counter drugs that would turn lethal.
Theoretically if you had enough painkillers to last around the clock for a few days but not enough to kill you (eg long acting opioids), you could take a paracetamol overdose and then keep yourself heavily sedated until you died of liver failure.
What about non painkillers? There has to be a slow toxic mix that can make the heart stop. For instance, there are decongestants, cough medicines etc.

The only reason these drugs are allowed to be sold OTC at all is that there are few consequences of overdose. As others have already mentioned, if an OTC drug can be lethal at all it would take a truly ridiculous dose and be a slow, agonizing death. There are better methods out there.

If you are going to use potassium, you do not have to inject it into the heart. Just give it through a vein. But it is not a pleasant death. Will cause cardiac arrest of course. But can cause seizures and feelings of suffocation.
You may be able to choke on some over the counter pills. Just make sure no one nearby knows the Heimlich maneuver.

I don't recall the exact number but the success rate for OD'ing on medication is somewhere around or under 5%. With OTC: The quantity you'd have to consume is somewhat unreasonable and most people's stomachs will involuntarily expel it once the body figures out what's going on. Many OTC drugs used in suicide attempts will cause 1. A hell of a lot of pain and 2. Permanent damage to your body.
That said, I knew someone who OD'd on Benadryl and was put on life support for I think a couple weeks. I don't know anything more about her experience, like how much she took, whether she combined it with other medications or alcohol, what the consequences were to her health, or etc.
As I asked before, where does one actually get potassium? Also what about cyanide?

Benadryl overdose is HELL. I took a very, very large recreational dose of it twice and it is the most physical misery I have ever experienced.

Cyanide is very sketchy to try to buy, customs will be very suspicious if they find out you want to buy cyanide. However you can make cyanide with the right ingredients from stores. Uhhh, just don't use it to kill other people...
Also, cyanide works very well, but isn't the least painful way to die :(

The OTC drug list depends on which country you live in. Many dangerous drugs are OTC in the country where I live. Rocuronium, atracurium, mivacurium, propofol, IV digoxin, IV KCL, IV beta blockers, local anesthetics... Of these, propofol + rocuronium is already an ideal peaceful CTB combination. I don't think it's possible to get any of these drugs over the counter in Europe or America.

Well they're not OTC. Unless you got some snazzy connections somewhere you probably won't be able to get them.
You can just stop in a local pharmacy and buy these iv drugs OTC? What country are you from? I may be coming over for vacation lol
So actually dying from OTC drugs takes a massive quantity and itll be slow and not very peaceful. SN would be cheaper and quicker
