Im looking for any simple way that does not endanger others in a home ie carbon monoxide I cannot do as any leak would hurt someone. Honestly I just read somewhere that a person got harassed by a nurse who sent them ways to ctb and I wish that would happen to me.
Is there by any stretch of the inagination an otc overdose that works
I am not able to order anything online so whatever is available in a typical big store would help me a lot
Thank you

Look at the night-night method thread. Most of the stuff you can buy from a typical store. Partial suspension/Full suspension works too. You're not gonna encounter too many OTC medications that would work effectively and painlessly. ODing on Acetaminophen will just cause liver damage and slow death for 2-3 weeks. You can try to get SN on Amazon if you're in the USA pretty easily, but getting an anti-emetic is harder.

Choosing your course and method to CTB is very challenging, I'm still going through the process of elimination. OD just does not seem to fit for me. I'm coming down to the night-night method, full suspension, and firearms.

Partial suspension or full suspension if you are up for it would probably work. There are no reliable otc overdoses unfortunately :/ SN could also be worth a shot but you need antiemetics for that. They are available on ebay but since you can't order online it would be difficult. But I think there are a few people (they wrote about it on the SN megathread) who managed to get them by lying to their doctors. For others though it didn't work

I hope you find the thing that works best for you, sorry if this wasn't do helpful, it's so difficult to find a method sometimes

@Xerxes is right about OTC medication. Most of them won't be effective in ctb'ing and OD'ing on headache medication only makes things worse. I've read too many cases of failed attempts with OD'ing on OTC medicine especially on the despicable subreddit SW (suicide watch) so I know that that isn't a good choice at all.

As far as CO method, do you have a car or vehicle? If so, then I would consider that to work if you are able to seal all openings of a vehicle, then let the charcoal burn until there is no more smoke and flames then put it in the car when there it will give off CO gas. You could do something similar in a camping tent if you find a secluded area away from people too.

Ultimately, it comes down to availability, reliability, and comfortability when choosing your method.

As far as I know, I'm the only nurse that's active on this forum (at least recently), and I would never "harass" anyone.

There's no place for that here, and if there were such an incident that person would be warned if not outright banned.

Agree with the others' recs for methods here, all of which are discussed in detail on different threads here.

Do NOT under any circumstances attempt to ctb with OTC drugs. If they kill you, it will be slowly, and you'll die a week later in agony in an ICU.

Lastly, medical professionals don't have any knowledge of methods that can't be found on this forum; what I mean to say, is there's no 'secret cocktail' of OTC drugs that will work that we're keeping under wraps and guarding.
