it's actually so fucking annoying, the body survival instinct is, and will always be stronger than us, you can see this in everyday habits, if you don't eat, hunger eventually will make you feral

same with drinking, and dying

we are nothing more than animals, just with the characteristic of having consciousness, the biggest mistake in evolution

You surely can win - as in overcome your SI - its hard, but surely not impossible - otherwise you would have 0% success rate

Unfortunately, we can endure far more pain than we would ever think. It really takes a lot to be able to defeat SI.
