Method OTC medicine overdosing options?

O see multiple threads regarding overdosing, but none this specific.

I have been trying to research over the counter (OTC) medications that are easy to access and overdose(Able). I know some people will suggest caffeine pills, but as far as I have understood, that is a pretty painful way to go. Lets just exclude them. What is best options for this method? please give details and as much information as possible. Please and thank you

Nothing OTC will work you'll make yourself very I'll and or sleep for ages and feel like you want to die.

Caffeine pills or powder will make you sweat. Hallucinate. Vomit and have the worst diarrhea.

If lucky you'll die of a heart attack

I think that if there were easily accessible things that we could successfully overdose on then there would be no suicide forums in the first place. Suicide really isn't that easy, if it was then I believe that most of us on here would already be gone.

Diphenhydramine is something Ive thought about trying to OD on *a lot*, it was the method I thought about the most but, from what Ive read it wouldnt be the most consistent or effective way
Youd probably just end up throwing up all the pills and even if you didnt, wind up in a coma instead, at least from what I remember reading in reports of ODs but I admit I have trouble retaining information and I havent looked into it in awhile

I probably wouldnt recommend it, anyway
If it was effective I might have already tried it to be honest

Pro-lifers regulating things have completely weeded out all possible OTC medications that might once have enabled CTB. They're very aware how easy it would be for people to OD on, so they restrict it. Even on non-otc medication available is hard to OD on. Like you need 10 GRAMS of morphine plus others. And even then, you have to crush the pills to overcome the slow-release mechanism. Through and through they minimize the risk that someone can OD on medication. Old, more dangerous medications that could have been used for a peaceful death have been phased out completely! And that was decades ago.

Like so many other here have said, OTC will probably not to the trick. One might get very sick and pull right on through.

The worst that I can think of would-be organ damage, and that would be HELL to move on that way. The aspect of lying on a hospital bed in horrible pain slowly writhing away as one turns yellow from liver failure is a nightmare.

I have seen folks who had cirrhosis of the liver and it was hell watching them in pure torture with yellow eyes and skin as their body poisoned itself. Too much Acetaminophen causes Mitochondrial Oxidative Stress, which makes the live nonfunctional causing ones eyes and skin to turn yellow and slowly poison a human body to death.

Also, kidney damage, another not so fun way of having one's body poison itself is also a slow and hellish way to go. Ibuprofen can cause server kidney damage called Chronic Interstitial Nephritis, a purely hellish way to die.

These are just 2 of many OTC overdoses by products, so the answer is a complete NO, NEVER EVER.

Will one die, maybe, but it will be very slow and hell on Earth, horrible beyond belief.
