Firstly thanks for letting me join this group.
The last 7 days have been a rollercoaster to say the least.
The pressure from my job and after having another incident onboard which I am now being blamed for - I shall add I work as cabin crew and have been crew for the last 10 years. Last Monday had someone smoking in the toilets which caused a fire I was unfortunate enough to deal with this incident after which several passengers attempted to blame myself for the fire.
I am now being investigated by the company - there has been no support and to be fair I have just had enough now espicawllly after discovering that my roster has been cleared for a further 5 days. Not eating properly, sleeping, etc. Only way I can see out of this is to go nice and peacefully.
I have a partner of 11 years who works in the same industry as me and hate the thought of leaving him but I am at the point now that this would be the most desirable option.
I've come to terms with it and hopefully be able to go through first time with some preparation. I am hoping to use helium gas with an exit bag as want a painless way to end it. Thinking my favourite music on in the background then I can just go peacefully.
Have been considering this for the last week since the incident first happened in some small way I am hoping that the company may look into the support offered to their employees etc something which I doubt will ever change but one can hope.
