I found a very shady online pharmacy back in 2023 manned by a Mexican national living in Los Angeles. The website shows all sorts of legal medications, illicit drugs, prescription drugs and other hard to get substances. Since then, I've been in communication with the dude behind the website via both email and text. He'll intermittently reach out and ask if I want anything.

Basically, his story is that his family owns shops in Mexico and Cuba and that he himself is in California. He purportedly acquires the under the table substances from south and central America and vends out of his physical location in LA as well as via his online website and also has business ties and connects to UK and Thailand.

I haven't actually purchased anything from the guy or his website, but I've been extremely tempted. Biggest fear is just getting scammed and losing some money... but I'm thinking what if I buy something easily testable (perhaps cocaine) and get a reagent test kit to ensure purity?

Test kit will show if its positive for coke but obviously won't show adulterants but at least if its positive for cocaine it would show the dude is moderately legit, right? Thought I could buy a small amount of something (low cost), test the purity of the substance (assuming something is actually shipped and delivered to me) and if the test shows its legit, I could then actually buy the substances I want and need to CTB.

Thoughts? Input? Do you know the dude and pharmacy I'm talking about, is he/it legit? Not going to be naming sources.

I have never heard this person or their pharmacy but always be very cautious when dealing with people online. Not only could they be scamming you out of money, it could be a trap by the cops that could get you into serious trouble. Once again, I know nothing of this person/website you are talking about just knowing how many scammers/shady activity there is out there you really need to be careful. Id hate to see someone on here make a bad situation worse.

I obviously thought about entrapment as well but I feel like the cops would set up a better website if they were actually trying to entice people. And my other thought was would they really be talking to someone for almost 2.5 years as a sting operation to trap them into buying a small amount of illicit substances? It seems like a lot of effort with little gain for law enforcement... bigger fish to fry, ya know?

Its a graynet site, not openly indexed but reached with a normal browser.

Is there something worse that could happen just losing money, not receiving actual product, or being caught up in a sting that I'm not considering?

Well,

As you said, possible scam. (some of these scammer do it for a living so they can chat with you for days on end just to get your money)
thay chat all day long with tens of people a day just for their scam.
Police: police always wanna scare off people, so punishment always sounds severe, but if you would buy lets say 1 gram of coke, i dont know exactly in USA, but europe, you would at best get a fine.
Its all about either for personal use or intent to distribute, if you stay clear of the latter, youre probably good. (again dunno in usa exactly)

To your question: Only thing i could imagine is him knowing your address, but he would need that in combination with sensitive information about you, to possibly extort you, like if he knows you are very rich and you told him things that he can use to hurt you or something.

Wouldnt see a reason for stalking, unless he saw photos of you and is a sexfiend predator or something. But if he lives far away thats obv very unlikely.

Besides extortion/stalking i wouldnt know.

edit: address in combination with f.e. bank account number, phone number, your real name, becomes more fishy, but he still probably cant do a lot.
also his 'sting' for going through all this 'selling drugs' business to scam you through personal information seems unlikely. (Even though you never know with scammers.)

oh and general thoughts: I am strongly getting the idea that websites 'openly' selling illegal goods, and stay online, are scams. I think cause the police cant charge em with anything cause they never deliver.
so my advice would be, if you got $200 on ur bank account and it costs $50 for a gram of coke to try him out, dont do it, if you got $10k, what the hell.
you can also try to find people through google/through how you found him, see if anyone can confirm he is legit.
but dont look too much into the whole 'he has been nicely talking to me for 2.5 years now'. imo

Why not just use Tor and get on DNM? If its on the clearnet its almost for sure a scam.

I really don´t know, depends on your situation and where you live but let´s say I´d order 5g of cocaine and get caught - the worst thing that could happen is them taking it away (for themselves...)
