Pretend you're having a picnic for one just away from the edge, and wear trainers for when you make your move.

You could also bring binocular, as if you are a bird watcher.

...or you could wear a shirt with the text "What goes up must come down!" :smiling:

It's just so unfair how others try to interfere with people's ctb attempts. They should have no right to do that, but I guess that if someone is determined to jump off Beachy Head then I think that person will likely find a way to succeed.

I always wonder what percentage is grateful and what precentage is severely pissed? On tv they always churn out these people, who say, "thank god I was saved, life's amazing now". They would never have anyone on who was enraged by someone saving their life, and just wanted people to bugger off and let them come to their end.

Remember when that guy tried to off himself and Mr Incredible saved him instead? Then the guy sued him for damages? When I was younger I thought that the suicidal guy was an ungrateful asshole, now I understand him completely.

I was actually determined to go to Beachy Head a few years ago. I brought some really cheap binoculars, (that you couldn't see nothing out of), and had an old summery beach bag that I was gonna use to look inconspicuous. I had really bad social anxiety - so couldn't take a train. I saved up for ages to be able to take a cab there. Ordered that cab at 4, so I could get there when the sun came up at 6, and maybe there would be less chaporones there. But it wouldn't go through, I had no idea why. I snached my black shades off and put my sandles away and went to sleep. Later that day, I got a call from the bank, the transaction looked dodgy as fuck. It turned into a whole thing, because I couldn't remember my pin. I had to come in and show them my id, which was nowhere to be found. I wasn't going to Beachy Head anytime soon.

Turns out they've fenced off the key parts for a while anyway. But if it's anything like the picture it shouldn't be too hard to overcome.

what could change your mind
Proof that I won't suffer at the bottom. But givin people have survived jumping from a plane, I'm not optimistic. It would be just my luck if I'm the 1% that fails

From what I've read about jumping, best thing you can do to increase your chances of succeeding is to try to position your body so that you'll land either back first or head first. I doubt you would survive falling 100+ metres if you landed on your back or head first.

I've thought about beachy head but I'm worried about landing on one of the ledges. I'm UK based so it would be easy to get to.
