I'm thinking about my note and how to go about it. I would like to do an overall note but I have a small inner circle and I'd like to leave them each a note. I'm worried for them. That they're gonna blame themselves so I wanna give them smth but idk if that would make it harder for them. It also stresses me out and puts me off ctb bc it's such a hard thing to do.

What are you guys thoughts on personal notes? If you only wanna do one note, why?

When it comes to writing notes / farewell letters / last will it's a totally personal decision. Explaining to special person why CTB was the only option might help them a bit not to feel guilty, but it will be a loss for them anyway, As they still cannot understand the sufferings we had to go through to finally make the decision to leave this hellish world. I don't know whether I intend to leave personal notes, however I have some things someone would have to manage immediately after I CTBed, so I'd defintily leave instructions for the most necessesary things to be done.

im also wondering how to structure my note.

i only have two people in my life, and what i would say to each person is very different - so i think it would make more sense for me to write two separate notes :)

perhaps you need a separate note detailing instructions and important information - do you want to be buried or cremated? do you have a will? what about your usernames and passwords?

This stuff definitely has to be written in a last will. Other wise the next relative who inherits everything will have to decide about this stuff. The legal succession is different in any country of your residence / native country.

It's up to you how many notes to leave, but I think that leaving notes are better than leaving nothing personally as notes might mean that those left behind are less likely to be left with as many unanswered questions if they are left with some sort of explanation.
