I mean, you can't feel anything. Which is better than suffering.

I tried to protect others by pushing them away, but that just brought more suffering. I'm going to CTB and I'm sure it'll come as a shock for everyone around me.

control has been taken away from me at every point in my life. It's a little comforting to know that my final act will be a choice I made and nobody else.

12/31/2025 is the day for me. Will be driving off to a very distant place carefully selected for its geography and ability to conceal my corpse, far from towns to hide sounds of a gunshot, parking my vehicle at the side of the road of an empty FM road, walking for as long as my legs will take me, take a seat and then make my final choice. 7.62x39 to the roof of the mouth should get things started if not finish things.

Hopefully nobody finds my body and the wild animals just consume my corpse so there's little signs of me left. Don't want a funeral. Would rather people assume I ran off and am living some other life than have them know what I am going to do.

The fact that there is no suffering in non-existence is exactly why it appeals to me, all I want is to be permanently free from this torturous, cruel and futile existence, I hope you find the freedom you search for.

I mean it depends on what your belief of the metaphysics is, right? I don't know if this is a place for philosophical discussions but a lot of non dualists schools that consider consciousness to be fundamental won't say that suffering ceases after death. For them it's like kicking a can down the road, you'll encounter it again. Basically, your consciousness will (according to them) still exist after death.

That kind of stuff gets discussed here regularly. My opinion is that no one truly knows, and never will. CTB is just a gamble at the end of the day. You may escape suffering, or you may not. Anyone who says they know what's going to happen after death is trying to sell you something. It's all just theories.
