Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Lately I'm considering SN as my method. So far I'm just picturing the process in my head:
I prepare the drinks at my home inside of PET water bottles so I don't have to take any extra stuff with me + to be calmer that everything is ready. Then I take a walk to my spot, might be over two hours long. I sit there up to another hour to chill and get ready mentally, maybe send some goodbyes etc. as well.
I was wondering if the drinks become less effective in such period of time. How long does it actually take for the drinks to start loosing on it's effect? Should I rather mix it at the spot right before drinking or it doesn't matter?

It's actually a fairly stable inorganic salt; despite the comments that once opened oxidation will occur. It will easily last several days, if not weeks in solution.

A few hours in a water bottle definitely won't matter: concentrated solutions of SN are very stable since they inhibit the growth of bacteria that could otherwise oxidise the nitrite into nitrate: levels above 2.5-4% by weight inhibit microbial growth so 25g/50ml (50% w/w) should have a very long shelf life in a sealed container.
