Discussion On the moment of death...

Don't know why but I find listening to this guy strangely reassuring! as a young guy he was electrocuted during a lark, as a consequence he nearly died & also lost 3 limbs-however this inspired him to go into medicine & led him to his path as a physician & author-a specialist in paliative care. He has writtten a book called "A beginners guide to the end: Practical Advise for Living Life & Facing Death"...whilst the patients he would have encountered were either terminally ill or v.old... I nonetheless find his approach/words in coming to term with dying quite comforting...

obsessed by hearing people talk about death! (no surprise) wouldnt mind him being around in that moment-feel like his voice is so soothing, easy on the eye too, ha!

There are loads of posts of him talking about dying (medically assisted death to) obvs in his case it is in relation to people receiving end of life care-but i think it can also apply more generally. He also talks about the medical system as a whole, how messed up it is and how people are treated in the system. Hes very insightful and wise.
