My SN has been around roughly 2 years since receiving it (never opened) and my Meto is expired by 10 months. Both have been stored fairly well, there was a moment when I realized they were in a hot attic like space for a while (maybe a couple of weeks in early summer, temperature just started heating up, maybe 80 degrees tops) and I quickly moved them to a basement with a dehumidifier.

They both appear okay, some mild clumping with LW brand SN, a light shake and it fell apart. I've read that prescription medication can last up to even 10 years after the expiration date. I know the SN might be nearing the end of its effectiveness.

Do I get new stuff? Hard to obtain the first time around and since then SN has become more difficult to get.

Do I just go for N? I like the idea of it, but I'm concerned about the legal issues if it gets caught in the mail.

There aren't issues if it's caught in the mail.

I could seriously use some advice guys. I want to just use the SN that I have, but is that too risky?

I answered you. There are no issues. If you are that concerned run linux sandboxed on a PC and use tails and a secure wallet on TOR like electrum to pay.

You only get a seizure letter if it gets caught, plus I would hope you understand what plausible deniability is, and how and when to exercise that if in the worst case, you ever needed to. That would only be for the rare case someone ordered much over personal use, and they set up a sting. For 2 ambers of N, you are getting a letter only, if seized, trust me. You never send the letter back claiming to know of the package obviously. just let it go and it goes away.

I'm no expert but these two links seem pretty reassuring when it comes to SN:

I don't know to what extent this information applies when using SN to ctb, but in the first link they're talking about decades old SN being still totally fine for chemistry purposes. In the second link they talk about how the shelf lives of most meds should be much longer than they are and specifically mention that an injection-solution of SN has a mean extension time of 89 months past its expiry date (if I read that correctly). Totally unsure about how much relevance this all has to our purposes but it sounds promising at least?

Thanks… Ive come across the same articles before. I was wondering if they seemed legit or not because so many people discuss SN only being good for 3 years. Ive come to the same conclusions you have based on those resources. Something tells me they would both work just fine, but there is always a risk with all of these substances when we actually use them to CTB.

Yeah, the stakes of fucking up are so high that you'd want certainty, not just being pretty sure. :/ Well, there's still the blood test for SN to confirm that it's okay, right? Would suck if it turned out that it's gone bad just when you wanted to CTB but at least you wouldn't have to risk it and could put it off till you found a different means.

no worries, i mean the info's been posted before. i guess people would have to actually search for it and maybe not be able to find it. but seen as people keep asking the questions it keeps it available for people to easily find, i guess its a good way of helping any new people who have joined or anyone who hasn't been able to find the answers

i have a feeling that wasn't what was intended to happen though

Search option is not available for new members and I do feel that it is a subject that could be debated.

I have the same worries about the SN expiration date. Mine has a date of end July 2021 but it has never been opened and stored in a cool, dark and dry place. It is also still in the cardboard outer packaging with packing peanuts surrounding the sealed plastic tub.
But if like the article says, it could last indefinitely if stored correctly, I'm hoping mine is ok.
