I've been prescribed Zyprexa 15mg, once at night for psychosis and suicidal ideations. I only take half the dose because of weight gain though. Stan lists olanzapine as a dopamine blocking antiemetic that will work for the SN method. Problem is, there's really no elaboration. Should I just continue taking my dose or should I pop 2 or 3 pills before I drink my SN? I know some people have success with no antiemetics at all but is not recommended. Also should I maybe increase the dosage and take for a short period of time? I believe 5mg, the ae effects start.

I wouldn't recommend it, I haven't seen any evidence that it's a good antiemetic

You did see it listed as one of the few you CAN use in Stan's guide though right? These damn luxury meds are gonna cost 10 times more than the SN. I wish I could sell some on here lol.

Whats the best
1. Antimetic
2. Beta blocker
3. Sedative
To use for the SN method in your opinion?

I meant whats the best of each of those haha
Oh lol. Meto for the AE with Zofran for the nausea as well, Propranolol for the beta blocker, and any benzo will work for a sedative. A high dose of Xanax or Valium would work nicely.
Domperidone is a potent AE as well and will get the job done.

Yes, I have Olanzapine too and am prescribed 10mg every night. I take it every night and it makes me hungry and I want to eat a few hours after taking it. I'll be using Olanzapine too with my SN. I was originally thinking of taking 1 extra pill (so it would be 20mg) before I take my SN so I can get the full effect because I assume my body is used to the medication by now. But I don't know if that is necessary, I might just take my regular 10mg dose and that's it. Either way, I will wait two hours or so after taking it before I take my SN.

Okay so I know with olanzapine and quetiapine you have to take them for a while to get the anti-emetic effects. I don't know how effective it is though when it comes to SN because where most of the research is is with people with chemo induced nausea and vomiting. You can find further reading on google scholar (here's a good start). Good luck <3

I used to drink Trifluoperazine, only now I remembered about it. it also has an antiemetic effect. and also blocks dopamine receptors. I live in Russia, we basically have pharmacies where metoclopramide is sold without a prescription, but you have to look for them. Will this antipsychotic be suitable as an antiemetic?

Thx for the input guys. I'll be doubling up or tripling my dose for antiemetic effects. Might take for 3 days prior.

Wtf, nice. I've got olanzapine and I've got oxazepam. So these + SN in water and I'm all set? Now I just need to get the damn SN...
