Not sure if this was already posted here, but it's worth taking a look. Another thing I noticed is that the ss url is not showing up in the google search, (I'm located in the American midwest at the moment)

Do you ever notice that even though these people's children just died, each and every one of these interviews is identical. The only emotions they express is through "I don't want to talk about it right now", head shaking, and exasperated sighs. Not even a touch of actual emotion in their voice. These people are totally unaffected. It's creepy.

Edit: OH, it's the Fixthe26 lady, I thought I recognised her voice. You know, the one who actually bullied someone who was recovering into suicide.

They are the BIGGEST MORONS EVER PERIOD, fix the 26 and the like. Instead of working to help those in need, they protest and make a stink. Gee, Where in the hell where/are they when someone is in need? If they are that damn stupid to begin with, then if I may ask " What in the hell are they standing on the pulpit now for??" Like I always say, "easy to judge, hard to understand". What a bunch of MORONS. Get a REAl life please!! Walter

Yap, yap...a meandering interview of misinformation. When she mentioned Lindsey Graham, we know she can not be taken seriously.

Moreover, Sec. 230 is over 800 words long!! She either can not count or taking things out of context.

It's as if these women are virtue signalling in order to get some attention....very common thing that is going on in today's political / social arenas across the board.

This site is only here to those who seek it. It's not like its being advertised or anything. What about tiktok and youtube. youtube a site where ppl make up stupid dangerous challenges like the 'lit yourself on fire challenge' or tiktok which has a number of underage girls dancing suggestively for adults. Twitter and facebook where bullying often occurs on the daily. Not to mention the racism and child abuse that has been reported there. Instagram the reason why so many women/girls have a poor selfimage. If we must judge one site why not judge them all.

Ok so I noticed something weird going on at 5:07-5:50, about how she found out about Sanctioned Suicide sounds a bit funny. From about 5:07, she states something about how he left a password on his note " for me." which I found strange, I highly doubt it that he left that note " for her." he probably wrote the password for this site for himself so that he could remember it just in case .So I find that a bit suspect. So she was basically just snopping in his phone for whatever reason through Safari, and that's when she finds this " horrible site." Also at 7:18 describes this site as " cheering them on." even though I've not seen stuff like that so far. Anyways I didn't watch the whole thing but it seems like they lack a certain awareness to understand why this site exist. And seem narrow-minded.

I like how she nonchalantly she implies that she uses her dead son's account to access what she calls a 'an evil suicide cult.' If this site actually was what she says it is, that would be extremely messed up. Not that using a dead person for your own gain isn't already.

Exactly. There is no "cheering on" here at all, and this no-cheering on policy is strictly enforced at SS.

I wonder if the "cheering on" she's referring to is her misinterpreting people wishing others a peaceful journey on goodbye threads? A gross misinterpretation but from a tunnel-visioned mind like hers I could see that

But their argument has to be inflammatory and provoke disgust. People are busy, numb and narrow minded and won't bother to check something out for themselves. Or now it's gone underground here, they can't check it out for themselves. If someone says 'hey there's this site and it's encouraging children to kill themselves' then people are (quite rightly) horrified.

Whereas if they told the truth - hey there's a website that supports people whilst they make their own life or death decisions that you might not agree with. A place where you can talk without fear of intervention and btw, all the people are adults. All of a sudden, the truth isn't as sensational for mere muggles who cannot or don't want to understand the situations that bring some to here. Lucky them!!

People are being manipulated and motivated by fear and misunderstanding. It's an centuries old system for controlling and suppressing a population - Police, government, religion etc.

I get it, they're hurting from the loss of a loved one and distracting themselves away from fully facing that hurt by launching a fight against this community. It's totally misguided but it's that psychologist/psychiatrist mentality of trying to save someone from themselves, trying to save people from hurt. It's a narcissistic desire to 'save the world' loosely interpreted to mean - i'm going to highlight a cause that I deem worthy enough and save the day. They don't do it to 'save' us - there motivation is to make them feel better about themselves.

It is probably going to be allright?

What is seen at the surface sometimes is not going to necessarily be exactly what you are seeing happening?

The idea of this place and other groups and organizations involved with stakes having any say, they probably all know, or believe it will flourish, the idea of it.

If it helps, maybe try thinking of those people as temporary vectors to the overall idea of what this place stands for, it could help?

The magnitude of their force only seems to have real meaning as applied to some of them, at the moment. And they have to suffer for it I suppose, and it is unfair and unfortunate to have to happen, but . . (I do not want to say) . .

Nevermind, that is it, and I have nothing more to say. That probably did not make sense either, Lol hahaha

I highly highly doubt there's all adults here. I would bet money that there are lot's of minors here, even though I don't have any money, but sometimes I do. When I was a minor, I was quite scandalous and would have totally gone on this website if it existed back then.

Another reason why I hate those # prolife fascists.
Fuck, there's always a reason why people are depressed and choose to kill themselves.
Many people like me, are trying to somehow keep going but if the road will be too difficult to me, I'll most likely exit. It's my body, my life and my decision on what I want to do and it's already annoying enough that the gov is trying to control everything.

I skipped to the end, where the interviewer said "you know your kids better than anyone". Do you, really? I'm wondering how many teenagers would actually agree with that - particularly those who are suicidal. I sure as fuck am not gonna delude myself into thinking that my future teenage children are gonna confide in me rather than one of their friends or people online. Regardless of how conducive to open dialogue an environment I would try to maintain at home. It just doesn't work that way a lot of the time.

The whole venture seems misguided. She's looking to take away a community in which people finally feel comfortable about expressing their issues and ideations to accomplish what exactly? Not to mention the wider impact of Section 230 reform. She cries about how said community normalizes suicide. Well, how about we start by not stigmatizing it? How about we not bury everyone and everything under a banner that says "life is always worth living"?

Oh, and she operates out of Texas. Her state aligns with a political party that has been opposing women's rights to abortion, gender equality, public healthcare, worker's rights and a $15 minimum wage, and that frequently uses mental health as a scapegoat in order to kill discussion about gun control. How about we start there? Spend our energy fixing society and increasing quality of life for those who most need it, and maybe then less people will feel inclined to opt out.

It's always someone else's fault. In the end, whether SS or any other forum exists or not, people who want to go will find a way no matter what type of resource(s) they need to help meet their goal. Suicide has existed forever and always will exist. We are born into varied levels of suffering and at some point have to make the decision to suffer through another day or end it all.

In this case it's beyond virtue signalling, unfortunately. This woman is a predator, and she feeds off of the attention, the power of leading a group, and the access to vulnerable individuals that she can take out her anger on (even to the point of ending a life) while remaining labelled as the good guy. Everything she says about the site is a projection of her own actions, and after interacting with her I have no doubt that she played a large part in her own son's death.

It is honestly sad to see, though people with complexes like that never think themselves as a bad person, always everyone else.

ya know, i see that this fixthe26 thing is "getting some traction" and at first i'm kind of scared and sad they'll actually take down this site but really i'm hoping that if it does snowball into something bigger than it should be then this will actually open up the conversation of suicide and how we can stop stigmatizing it. i really hope that they take a step outside of their echo chamber or someone curious enough might interview or make a video discussing the views between prolifers and prochoicers on suicide, euthanasia, and destigmatizing any discussion of suicide.

Wish it would too but I doubt it, anytime there is actual talking about suicide, you see that they silence the other side.
