are there any alternatives to Nembutal that are easy to obtain?

If there were, a lot of us wouldn't be here. Depending on where you live, you might be able to get sodium cyanide from a laboratory supplies store by claiming you're restoring old jewelry, but don't hold your breath. NaCN is a very quick death but not as peaceful as Nembutal.

It's not as peaceful as N though.
I would definitely do some research before committing to it. I'm looking into this method currently because it's cheap and easy to obtain

Interesting. Apparently it tastes horrible though and at an L50 dose of 2.1g/kg in mice you'd need to drink a significant amount of it. I guess it depends if you can get the stuff down fast enough.

If peacefulness is what you're looking for I'd say fentanyl is right up there. Maybe even the best as it's not merely painless but it's euphoric provided you don't suffocate before falling asleep.

The minimal amount stated for an adult was 30 ml.

I consider 1,4 butanediol highly experimental. There is a thread about this substance. Someone who intended to kill himself with 1,4 b decided to opt for something else due to uncertainty. Given the mode of action, (lack of) experimental data I'm not inclined to use it.

Maybe it might work. I don't know. Don't forget it has to be metabolized into the active GHB which takes time.

Yeah, you could buy it off eBay or amazon, however you'll have to state valid reasons for buying it in the comment section They're around 40-50 bucks for 100ml.
They're also sold on other places, but they're a a bit more expensive.
