It's too hard for me to write right now and I'm about to see a nurse in a few minutes. So, I think someone ctb today and I can't be sure so out of respect for their two threads I made a separate one.
If someone/a mod wants to link the two threads here but I'm not comfortable doing that.
NYT and other journalists you've had plenty of time, so how about you start dealing with the real issues behind ctb? because it's not SS. They barely posted here and got nothing but support and help. What they needed was help in their real life and for society to not be so awful.
I'm not great at writing long articles, other people can add insightful posts here I'm sure. Also children, if you're worried about children/teenagers, then maybe we need to look closer at kids with problems and say hey wait a minute, the kid isn't the problem. There's more going on here. And do that with every child and teenager.
Also look into child/teenage bullying more. And drop some of the taboo around people that look slightly different.
Just my two cents since I really have to go now. Clickbait title I know but legitimate bait.
I'll add on that if an external source picks up on the other thread/s but not this one, then they're part of the problem and not part of the solution and maybe we should be looking at how things are perceived in the world instead.
Journalism is supposed to be unbiased. So ball is in your court, what is it going to be?
