Not sure how I feel about this

In one way I understand that he's probably been in a tough situation himself and recovered and now he's trying to give these people another chance but what if those people were ready to end it and were in peace with it. And maybe it was the only option they had and now he ruined it for them.. there were so many comments praising this guy and I get that he just wants them to give life another chance but some ppl already tried everything and still want to ctb... I know that some attempts can be impulsive and that's not great but there are others who thought about their decisions deeply and are determined to ctb... idk dude, I'd like to know how many of the people he saved actually recovered and if they're living a normal life...

I see both sides. Like he might be stopping people who made an impulse decision and may never contemplate suicide again, but hes also probably stopping a lot of people who will just find another bridge.
I wholeheartedly agree with the poster who said they need to give follow up. If I could get help to get out of the position I'm in now, I dont think I'd want to ctb, or at least no where near as much as i do now.
It's like when you hear people say that homelessness, financial insecurity and such are mental health problems, because you cant help someone as a mental health specialist if exterior stressors are the problem

I don't know the forum or what its about ie where you got the print screens from, but they banned for you for speaking your own thoughts? Seriously, what a dick move, you are not encouraging others to end their life's, you are simply stating a fact and a personal view.

As for what that bloke does, my thought is that he is obviously well known, so if someone really did want to end their lives then surely they wouldn't go at a weekend when he is there? There may be some that knows he there, and go then in a way a cry for help, hoping for support after that they may not have got before hand?
Otherwise, I do in a way agree with what he is doing, because if someone is truely serious then they will just try again. This MAY give those that are crying out for support that support.
I don't think its a situation we can truly comment on, as we don't know the stories of those he has *saved* (I use that term loosely)

Yeah it really sucks, it was on Reddit, the subreddit caller HumansBeingBros. I mean I can still go on Reddit which is cool but yeah, a permanent ban from a single comment....ugh

And yeah I think if someone wouldn't want to be saved they'd probably go somewhere else or during the week days. I know that some ppl just wanna know that someone cares about them so if they go there during the weekend it could be nice, just to hang out with that guy-because I'm sure he's a really nice person but yeah..I just made a single comment and bam

Freedom of speech no longer exists unless you are pro life and a few other things which I won't say due to fear of being rude but I think you get the idea
