as far as I see it the concept of recovery that most cishet neuro typicals have is:

bad thing happens -> I get to where I was before it happened -> bad thing no longer effects me

but that's not possible for me. I've dealt with so much abuse, neglect, harassment, and hate that getting to a point where it no longer effects me is not possible. I'm always going to struggle with it, so why bother?

The concept of recovery I have is one that simply isn't based in reality, for it to be made real, the entire world and universe would have to be fundamentally changed into something akin to fantasy.

For this reason, I have never sought any recovery because I know that there is nothing that this world can offer me.
I felt this in my soul. Every word. The world I was preparing to live in all this time is a world that doesn't even exist. The things I want are unattainable for me in this reality. So, as you so beautifully put it, there is nothing that this world can offer me.

definitely - the only way i dont feel miserable is when i do nothing. no school, no work, no responsibilities... and i also dont have friends, since i no longer know how to connect with other people. so i dont think recovery is possible for me, theres just so much wrong
