Not feeling welcome at a friend's house.

So I was hanging out with a group of friends at his house. and I thought it went well. You see he lives with his parents and the mother got upset at me and another friend for mentioning that LGBT people exist. All that happened was another friend asked if I played Dustborn and mention that it has LGBT characters in it. The mother didn't show it but when we left she told her son to tell us to not mention anything about that in their religious household and that if his dad overhead he might have gotten "physical". I was too afraid to ask what he meant by that.

The thing is the parents don't know that I'm part of the LGBT+ community, my friend knows. And I'm assuming he didn't tell his parent or else I probably wouldn't be allowed in his house anymore. I'm not surprised because my family is the same way. And ths is the reason why I struggle with religion and part of the reason why i ordered SN.

Don't go over there anymore. If you want to remain friendly with your friend, just see each other elsewhere. Never go where you're just tolerated, let alone mistreated. It's often the most religious folks too. Claiming their Christian or whatever and doing/saying everything but.
