Venting Not a Jedi

So I was walking minding my own business, and 3 thugs approach me.
The biggest one says something like "this p.o.s., let's get this p.o.s.".
I was feeling fine, wearing the t-shirt from the attachment, trying to visit a relative.
And the big one says " you have 500 EUR to lend us, Jedi-boy" ?
I said "No".
"So maybe 200, 100, 50 ? You want to buy us drinks?"
"No, no, no."


They let me go.
I want to train like One Punch Man. Become stronger.
I wasn't really scared, one of them recognized that I lived nearby, guys were high on meth or something.

I remember reading someone wanted to kill themselves because they weren't a jedi.

If you're still fit and can find the time & money maybe start taking boxing and jujitsu. Or just carry pepper spray. I'm old and injured and sick but if I were still young and healthy I'd try to get back into karate. Now I'm just waiting to die. Hopefully one day I'll be able to drink a final cocktail.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. A year ago a customer at my work pushed and threatened that he was going to "Knock me the fuck out." Pretty sure he would have hurt me decently if he wasn't acting tough since he was a good foot taller than me, of course he backed off when I said I'm calling the cops.

Oh yeah, if I was working and someone threatened me I would definitely just call the cops. I think a lot of businesses also have little bats or clubs under the counter to whip out in emergency..or maybe that's just on tv actually, not sure. But with no store security you'd be justified using an improvised object to defend yourself until the cops arrived, even if dude ends up dead. Gotta do what ya gotta do, right?

Thanks for the replies. I did start the training, getting there (the hundreds). Walking fast instead of running.
