Hi, I'm new here.

I'm 38 and want to die for many mental reasons. I just can't take living in a world like this. Around 99% of people I encounter are nasty, horrible people. This isn't a spur of the moment thing. I've wanted to die since I was about 14.

My preferred method of suicide is by firearm, it's quick and easy. But I live in London, England and I can't get hold of one. I've heard Nembutal is the next best way to go. But I live in London, England and can't get hold of it.

Does anybody know if a Nortriptyline overdose will be quick and easy way to go? Because I can get hold of that. Will I have to take something else with it to help knock me out?

Also, I'm extremely physically fit with a resting heart rate of around 40. I play a lot of sports. Will that be detrimental to any suicide attempt? Will I be tougher to kill off?

Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome. It won't be quick - estimated 36 hours for death - and it won't be easy/humane unless you at least combine it with antiemetics like metoclopramide to stop vomiting and Benzos to force you to sleep.

Sounds like you can substitute it for amitriptyline in these cocktails. https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Suicide/Amitriptyline_cocktail

Thank you. Amitriptyline would be easy to get hold of also. Would my doctor prescribe antiemetics like metoclopramide or Benzos?

Potentially yeah. Amitriptyline is preferable to nortriptyline as I understand. I have a lethal stockpile of nortriptyline but I absolutely will not attempt that way unless I can complete one of the recommended cocktails. I read of someone who attempted to OD on tricyclics without benzos and they lived but felt terrible, were agitated, and were hallucinating for quite a long time. They described it as the worst experience of their life.

Good luck
