I honestly thought my parents would understand from seeing how much agony that I'm in, and I was even in the process of filling out an application in anticipation of that, but they don't and they refuse to help me leave.
They tell me I need to endure and to fight.
...So I had to resort to this.
I'm going to die all alone and end up traumatizing the everloving shit out of them when they randomly stumble upon my body. ;-;

I'm sorry you are in this situation. It is cruel to expect someone to suffer for decades against their wishes. I hope you find peace.

there was a website specifically to find partners to go with you. The site is not working. Did you apply to Pegasos?

It's a tragedy when someone has to die alone and afraid in the most traumatic ways because others are too busy thinking about themselves. It is extremely rare that any parents would ever accept their offsprings death , even if they are suffering unbearably. I'm sorry you are forced to suffer against your will.

Pegasos needs somebody to accompany you in order to idenfity your body to the Swiss authorities. Make sure to join Exit International, I believe they can send someone to accompany you

Also while applying make sure to leave out any psych history or meds you take, even if your condition is physical. They might deny you over this

Are you actually ill with a terminal sickness or just want to end it? I don't think you can get assisted suicide even in Switzerland unless you have been diagnosed as terminal. For me that's crazy because I think you can be physically healthy but still want to die just like me. In a civilised world painless dignified death would be an option for all. For some reason the sheeple want to live and good for them - I want to die so give me a painless end that I can embrace with dignity.

I read a lot about assisted suicide in switzerland. The process is complicated and you must find someone to accompany you. It is sad you have to go through this alone :( I hope you feel better

I hadn't been accepted yet because I would've needed my parents to pay the initial 5k evaluation fee, which they then refused to do. I just thought my disease was bad enough that Pegasos would guaranteeably greenlight me (had we ended up doing so).

In my case I'm rapidly deteriorating from illness. But I believe it should be a human right to die painlessly & with dignity, regardless of the form that your suffering takes. I'm sorry you're hurting so deeply.

I think that Belgium offers VAD but I don't know if it's just restricted to citizens. I also don't know the names of any VAD organizations there.

Pegasos accepts foreigners & on their website they state there's a chance they'll accept you if you have a history of mental illness, but only if it's accompanied by a significant physical disease.

I was chatting with a particular member on here recently who got accepted but she's in her later years (at least compared to me, who is only 25).

Pegasos told me they don't rule out people with mental health conditions but the process is more complicated.

is going to Switzerland to die worth it? I heard the process to get admitted was tedious and super complicated and that most people are rejected. Is it true? or does anyone who has €10k can go there and die

Not yet with Pegasos, I'd need to save up which will take a while as I'm living on disability pension. They say you need to be accompanied to the clinic

I have requested for passive euthanasia (means you can only refuse life saving treatment, you don't get any help to die though) as it's the most my country allows. It took fucking years to get approved for it though simply because this one retarded psychiatrist misdiagnosed me with depression. So yeah, I'll make sure to redact certain medical records when applying to Pegasos

I also looked at euthanasia in Belgium and the Netherlands. They both accept mental illness but it's much harder, especially in the Netherlands. Canada will soon join them in giving euthanasia for mental illnesses. They take ages (years) to process the application and you have to be resident in the country the whole time

Pegasos and Dignitas are the only clinics in the world who accept foreigners as far as I know. They both say they accept mentally ill people but it's very rare and next to impossible. Pegasos is better as it's slightly cheaper, easier to be accepted and much faster in processing your application. Dignitas is more famous

I think they will as long as I leave out certain medical history that's from psychiatry. I have a rare condition (that Pegasos has helped people for) with no treatment for it and it gets progressively worse. I've had it for over a decade now and every time I see a doctor they tell me that I'm the most extreme case of it they saw. A few people on SS have been accepted such as this person
